I am a 32-year-old stay-at-home mom of Jack (3) and Charlie (8 mos). The other man in my life is my wonderful husband Chris. Formerly I was a 3rd grade teacher. I loved teaching and will go back some day, but right now I'm enjoying being a mom. Plus it has given me more time to get back to art. I have always loved art. I was that little kid who said I was going to be an artist when I grew up. So I majored in elementary and art education. I haven't taught art yet, but when I go back to teaching that is what I will do (if there are any art programs left in the schools :( ).

Well the old stand-bys are Janet Evanovich Stephanie Plum novels and anything by Nicholas Sparks. But I'll read anything recommended to me (by trusted friends)...The Secret Life of Bees, The Shack, The Time Travelers Wife, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants...just to name a few.

Anything on HGTV. Glee

Currently it is ATCs, scrapbooking, and bookmaking. I also love water color, drawing w/ anything (colored pencils, markers, crayons, regular pencils). I am starting to make little books to give as gifts for the upcoming holidays. I also enjoy working with wire, clay, and making prints.

I'm pretty trendy in the music department...I like a lot of top 40, but appreciate most music. Currently my favorite artists include Jack Johnson, ColdPlay, Maroon 5, KT Tunstall, and Dave Matthews.

I really don't care for ATCs with vintage pictures in them. Though I have seen some beautiful ATCs w/ them I feel they are overused and they just aren't my style.
