I'm a nursing student and will soon graduate and become an RN. I want to work in labor and delivery. Nursing school is intense and takes up most of my time during the school year. Thankfully, I have this summer off from classes.

I live with my fiance and our 3 year old daughter, Ellie. She brings me much joy : ). He is a computer geek.

I am a quiet person and an introvert. Aside from school and my family, I tend to spend a lot of time alone just reading, being crafty, writing letters, etc.

I used to be involved in mail stuff, swaps, pen pals etc. then got away from it (years ago... I'm 28). I've been bored with life lately and started thinking that this is one thing that could add a little magic and fun back into my life : ). I am having fun on here and sendsomething.net.

knitting, sewing, paper crafts

I love books and magazines about knitting and sewing, of course. I like any sort of Good book, really... especially but not limited to stuff about nurses, midwives, working out/running (trying to start lately), unschooling, good fiction... I'm willing to try whatever your favorite is also. I like both fiction and non-fiction.

• knitting stuff, like cotton yarn or stitch markers or I would love something to help organize my knitting needles
• zines
• stationery (looking for writing paper more than notecards)
• new makeup, especially mineral makeup or natural products, but doesn't have to be
• nice handmade items
• cool handmade envelopes
• neat paper things
• stickers, especially ones that look more "grown up" or artsy or unusual
• mix CDs
• glass tiles and other supplies to make glass tile pendants/necklaces
• Diamond Glaze glue
• hair bows/clippies/etc. for my daughter (no headbands)
