after taking a swapping break (surprise pregnancies will do that to you), I'm making time for creativity and looking forward to the motivation that swaps give in that area. Plus, I just really like to get mail ;)

I'm wife to my amazing husband and blessed to be stay-at-home mommy to two homeschooled preschoolers. In my pre-baby life I worked in marketing and journalism and enjoy things that are presented well and cleverly, though I can't claim to be all that clever myself. My life is a complete 180 from where I was five years ago; not only are we raising two kids but also three chickens, two bunnies and a large vegetable garden on our "urban homestead" in a quiet little city halfway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, CA.

we got rid of cable a while back and my husband works a lot of night shifts so I tend to Netflix binge on whatever show I get hooked on, currently Once Upon A Time, How I Met Your Mother and Friday Night Lights. Also, re-watching The Office (season two is my favorite).

embroidery, cross-stitch, knitting, paper crafts and looking forward to using my recently-inherited sewing machine :)

I'm also learning to crochet and just refurbished my first vintage train case which was really fun! I'm on the look-out for more pieces do freshen up.

also I like being creative in the kitchen, especially now that I have a little helper.
