In December and January of this last year I lost my Mom (Bettyboop 1935) and my Dad. It was a sudden loss that put me in a bit of a tail spin. I stopped doing swap-bot because of the time I did not have to apply to these swaps. Now that I am finding myself with time again I hope to be able to get back in to swap-bot. In December and January I was late in sending out and rating on some of the swaps that I had signed up for, and I am sorry for that, but Family came first. If there is any questions about these things I will answer them if you im me.

I am a 46 year old mother of 3 daughters who loves to craft and do projects! I love making envelopes, putting together packages and send and receive mail! I never thought that post cards where so much fun! I like thrift store finds, and little baskets and boxes. I don't think things have to be brand new to be useful. I would rather have gently used then new, its better for the environment and less costly.

I am a chef by trade, so love cooking and baking, and preserving fruits and veggies. Some day I will have my own bakery, deli.

I love coffee, and chocolate. I like to try new things and different combinations. The only flavors I don't like are liquorice or anise. I have no allergies. Nor do any of my family. I share with them some of the items I receive. I was sent some stroop wafel cookies and my husband loved them so much they went on line and found a company that sells them and bought a box for us to have. Kinda funny!

I have cats and dogs, a bunny and lots of chickens. I would like to have more animals and a larger farm, but our land is not suitable for it. We do have a garden that feeds the local groundhogs, woodchucks, and sometimes we get to enjoy the fruits of our labor.

I also have several flower gardens in our yard, and I am adding to it every year.

So in the summer I am outside as much as possible, I also love the ocean, lakes and the mountains. I live in the Lakes Region of NH, and it is very easy for me to travel to each one of these places. I am always ready for a road trip.

I love Bruce Hornsby, Nickleback, Seal, Eileen Ivers, , Jimmy Buffet, Florence and the machine,Pink, Jonathan Edwards,Steve Martin,Ricky Scags,Annie Lennox, and many MANY more.

I've been to over 50 concerts in my life and had a great time at each one. I will probably will go too 50 more. Live music is so different than the recordings. I always have music on when ever I am doing anything.

I'm learning to play the fiddle, and I'd love to go to fiddle camp this summer!

My favorite book right now is Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson. I also like crime novels and mystery novels. I love authors like Carol O'Connell, John Stanford, Holly Hobby, Stephen King, Spencer Quinn, Dave Barry, Stephen James, Ted Decker and Ali Carter. I also love young adult novels, and I still love reading my children's children books.

I love candy. I would really like the candy's that you can only get in your area. Hershey,Nestle, are ok but the ones you grew up eating and its not distributed nationally is the one I would love. When I send out candy's and foods it is usually made locally.
