Hi, I'm Lyndsae, and Iive in Michigan, where the state motto is “Winter is Coming.” I’m single and don't have any kids, but live with a whole gang of furry little mammals. (One dog, five indoor cats, including an adorable murderous kitten, and a constantly-changing clowder of outdoor strays who occasionally stop by for a meal.)

I work full-time at a local university where I just graduated with my Master's degree. (Officially over-educated, yay!)

In terms of random information, I’m vegetarian, I love to bargain shop (thrift and consignment stores/websites are my jam!), cook, garden (though I’m not that good at it), read and craft. I always seem to have more ideas than time….

I like to create all sorts of crafts, and I'm always looking for new ways to stretch myself and learn new projects and techniques. Some of my favorite crafts are notecards, pocket letters, bookmarks and decorated envelopes.

I love bright, vibrant colors and more mellow shades. Some of my favorites are purples, reds, blues and black and white. I also love texture and variation in shape and finish.

  Food and Drink: I avoid artificial sweeteners in food, drink and medicines. Please, no Aspertame (Equal, Nutrasweet), Saccharin (Sweet n Low), Sucralose (Splenda) or Stevia. Sugar is OK and I like it. :)

Having said all that: when in doubt, surprise me. I think the fun of swaps is that you don't really know what you're going to get. Be creative and have fun! I'll probably love it.
