I'm a crafty single mom. I have an 8yr old daughter that keeps me on my toes! I work as a dog walker in Chicago, and have a dog, 2 cats, 3 ferrets, 2 geckos, and a turtle at home. In my spare time I crochet and knit and think that I should be working out insted of sitting on my butt making granny squares. I went to auto mechanic school and worked as a tech for a few years, but working 50 hrs a week took to much away from my kid, so I started walking the dogs insted. My dog, Lucky, is medium sized black and white mix. He also takes up a lot of my time. My daughter and I are very outdoorsie and take Lucky to the woods when ever we can. We love to go camping and bbq in the yard.

I like different types. Fav bands as of 4/21/09 are Radiohead, Silversun Pickups, Stone Roses and many others. Fav songs as of 4/21/09 are "Say Hey" - Michael Franti, "Inside Out"-Eve 6, "Tangerine Speedo"-Cavier

I like series. Right now I'm reading Charlaine Harris's Southern Vampire novels. I liked Tess Gerritsen's Jane Rizzoli and Mara Isles series, Jasper Ffordes, Thursday Next books and I also got sucked into the Twilight books.

I loved Coraline! I love mysteries and suspense. I don't like gore and violence or mushy lovey dovey crap. I'm somewhere in between. I just saw "Up" and I loved it!

I've been crazy into crocheting. I like knitting and sewing. I've been crocheting animals, granny squares, and baby stuff for friends. I'm just starting to get into making things out of felt. I'm kinda out of control with amigurumi! I have been signing up for all the crochet and felt swaps I can find!

I'm easy going. I love warm, earthy colors. I also like earth friendly, organic, animal friendly products. I try to use the most natural fibers made from happy animals and organic farms. I also like retro/kitchy things. I love animals, cars and motorcycles in that order. Oh, and my daughter! I Love chococlate.

No religous symbols or remarks, over the top political statements (I'm a democrat) or things that smell like smoke.
