I love altered art of any kind especially books, tins, puzzle pieces, spoons, tins and did I mention tins? Newest passion is putz houses and miniatures. My fav theme is vintage and my crafts will usually reflect that element. Would luv to learn more ideas/swaps for art/craft projects using re-cycled items or repurposing old or thrift store finds. A perfect day for me includes trips to the used book store & thrift store for treasures for altered art. I can't sew a stitch, crochet or knit despite my mother's best efforts to teach me. Update: I can now sew a straight line with a sewing machine!!

Married (50 yrs +....child bride...lol...you do the math) with two grown children. recently retired and luvin' it! New 1st time Nana in 2024!

Not enough hours in the day for all of the art/craft projects that I want to try! I always have several projects going on at once. Pretentious artists and swappers make me TIRED & CRANKY or maybe it's just Arizona heat.

FOOD: Unfortunately (lol), I like everything! Because of the extreme heat where I live, most would not arrive in good condition except from November-April. My three major food groups are Coca-Cola, Chocolate & Coffee!

LIKES: Flora & Fauna: violets, hyacinths, lilacs, pansies,cacti, hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, ladybugs, gnomes & faeries.

Colors: pink, lavendar, sage green & Tiffany blue. I'm pretty much a girly-girl and yes, I do love glitter! Love "clean" scents, vanilla & lavender.

I luv Frida K, milagros, anything Mary Engelbreit, Rosie the Riveter, Alphonse Mucha, Fernando Botero, and funny pictures of nuns. Tiny things like buttons, gems & ephemera to fit inside my bottlecap art are an instant hit with me

DISLIKES: atc's, anime, comic books, fantasy art, Star Wars, Star Trek, witchcraft, horror genre, anything satanic, wiccan, Harry Potter or Twilight stuff, Kawaii (sorry...Hello Kitty is cute, but I guess I just don't get the rest of it.)
