Hey All, I'm Megan, Mom of two little Z's, Zoey and Zaiah. Married, and a sahm who homeschools. I am a crafter, and a hobby collector! I do long arm quilting on the side for some lovely ladies. My husband and I just recently (2021) recieved a grant to get a greenhouse ( hoophouse) that I am growing all medicinal herbs in. Currently learning herbalism, and how to be a good plant mom too!

Other things I'm learning how to do now are paper quilling, and bees wax batiking on fabric

I have gone through so many phases of music its ridiculous! From screamo to techno in my earlier years, moving on and slowly mellowing out into reggae and folk later, and now you'll catch me trying to find the most abstract music like Beats antique, or Elsiane! My husband is in a band called Shibboleth which i'll occasionally sing in, if I'm feeling confident!!

I'm on tic-tok now so a lot of the 'booktok' titles I'm working on going through.

My favorite things to listen to while quilting are audio books, I love all stories magical, I avoid heartbreak, and crime dramas.

This is difficult, bur my current favorite is The Little Prince. We have alot of disney playing in our home at this stage of life, but anything with Morgan Freeman is great too!

Our current list includes Vikings and Game of Thrones. My binge watching tv show is Parenthood, I've cried like a baby more than I care to admit for that show! But now its Over!!!!!! Any recommendations for what I can move onto now?

I'll throw in Downtown Abby, I really like that period of time portrayed in film!

As of 2021, im on netflix now so locke and key is top 👌 I also love the umbrella academy and magicians

I'd like to see myself as a Jack of all trades in the craft world, but I really prefer graphic design and sewing! I pretty much can't bring myself to buy many things because in my heart I know I can make it myself and most of the time do.

I cannot however, paint. Brush pressure is hard to get used to and I end up with fat lines and blobs all over!!! practice makes perfect though, right!!?

We just got a new puppy(Nov. 2021) his name is Theo and he is 12 weeks old, we think he is jack russel and Italian greyhound mix.. heins 57! But unsure as we were told mom was chihuahua and she was far too big to be that! 😄 we have 4 cats, two girls inside and two boys who live outside, and prefer it to be that way! 5 polish chickens also reside on our property but those girls keep to themselves and do not care for our company!

I love -boho/hippie style with darker colors, I'm a recovering emo kid from the 2000's 😄 - nature and plants 🪴 - cute kawaii things -I like to get things I can share with my kids who's interests are foxes, and video games -crows and magpies (magpie was my nickname growing up) Like the crows, I like to collect trinkets and items I can re-purpose, I am a tinkerbell at heart. I'm pretty passionate about upcycling everything * ones man's trash is another man's treasure - deep colors like royal blue emerald green dark purple - cottagecore ( I think that's what they call it these days) things like mushrooms, toads, woodland creatures, fairies, plants, insects) I really love things I can junk journal with.

I am happiest when I am cross stitching, sewing gifts, creating costumes, doing those kinds of things or when I have my hands in the dirt planting and tending to the earth.

I like to recieve things that the person I'm swapping with loves, it's so fun seeing, and learning about new things. I like the idea of experiencing the joy/excitement i imagine they get out of what they are passionate about!
