I am a teacher in my mid 30’s living on the East Coast of the US and have enjoyed art my whole life. I love all kinds of crafts and enjoy making cards and gifts for people. I love to make cross stitch cards for my swap partners. I have lots of supplies so unless it is very unusual or interesting, I would prefer to get a small bit of finished art rather than supplies (unless it is a supply swap). I also love learning new crafts. Here are some examples of the crafts I enjoy the most (but do not feel you need to send me something directly related to things on this list): • Knitting – currently learning Fair Isle knitting and lace knitting – samples would be great! • Crochet • Embroidery • Tatting • Photography • Printmaking • Silk-screening • Paper crafts of all kinds – I LOVE handmade cards! • Cross stitch • Glassblowing • Ceramics (my major in grad school) • Scherenshcnitte (paper cutting, think silhouettes) • Calligraphy • Letterpress • Lacemaking As far as the style I like, I want the thing you send to reflect YOU rather than me, so as long as it seems you put in a bit of effort and you had fun with it, I will be happy with the results.
