My name is Michelle. I'm 35 and the mother of 5 children. My oldest, Tabitha, is 10 and is taking a liking to art. She's good. I created this account, so she can have opportunities to grow in art and learn from others through swaps.

Thus we are the Moses Duo. Tabitha will be doing ATCs and I will be dabbling in other areas. As far as her ATCs go, she gets a lot of direction from me. If she rushes through, I make her re-do. If she can't get one aspect, she lets me do it for her.

We live in the USA (outside of DC).

My children's ages are 10-year-old girl, 8-yo boy, 6-yo girl, 4-yo boy and 1-yo boy.

I am a born again Christian. That means that at a time in my life I believed that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins and that His dying (and rising again), is sufficient to bring me to heaven.

My faith is the core of who I am, YET I know that not everyone shares my faith. I won't include religious stuff unless it appears the person has an interest on their profile.

I mention my faith, because I also want to note that I do not care for pictures of angels or even of the Lord Jesus. I do, however, like Bible verses and words of encouragement.

Also, my swaps will all be child friendly (i.e. - not vulgar or crude). I'd like to receive swaps that are like this. Otherwise I don't enjoy them.

I like trying new things. Over the years I've found enjoyment in these crafts:

• cross-stitch
• drawing
• card making
• crochet
• knitting
• cooking/baking
• blogging
• photography
• organizing (I'm sure it doesn't count, but it feels like an art) :)

Probably my favorite interest is people and their culture! We are a diverse family and I like to teach my children as much as possible about how other people think and live. My husband came to the US from India when he was a teen, so we've been well exposed to that culture (though we've never visited!)

I grew up in "the ghetto", as we lovingly refer to it as. Inner city Philadelphia to be more exact. I was one of the few white people on my block. People in high school used to marvel at my survival. Yes, it is dangerous, but I only got stuck up (with a gun) twice and got a car stolen off of me once. Life. :)

Now we live in a farming county. WAY different. :)

Anyway... I'd love to hear about your culture. Things that people may not know.

We love to try new things. I love coffee of any sort. Tea of any sort. Chocolate of most sorts (I don't like fruit in it, like cherries and such).

I don't like olives and overly processed foods. Other than that, I'm pretty good to go. :)

We eat a lot of gluten free, but we're not bound to that. :)
