I really enjoy fantasy/paranormal fiction, but not that Twilight rubbish :P

Lots of none fiction - Pagan and Wiccan spirituality, gender and sexuality studies, social science, feminist classics, music, politics, animal rights and cookery.

I love reading about music - band biographies, tour diaries etc. I'm particularly interested in books relating to the original hardcore scene.

I'm a beginner knitter and I have plans to learn to crochet, I absolutely love embroidery! I am especially fond of patterns in the same vein as sublime stitching. I've recently decided to try my hand at art journalling and I sometimes make jewellery too.

I'm also trying to find my "arty" side again! I did an A level in art and design quite some time ago and haven't really attempted to draw or paint since then. I really want to get back into this as I find it very relaxing and therapeutic. My plan is to start by keeping a sketchbook and see how it goes from there.......

Scents - vanilla, clove, anything foody scented, incense, resin,sandalwood, cucumber and melon, masculine or unisex scents, rose, dirt, christmassy scents.

Bath and body items - body butters or lotions, bubble bath, shower gel, perfume oil, dry oil spray, B+BW pocket bacs (I am completely obsessed with these!).

Food/drink - white chocolate, chai, iced tea, reese's, oreos, fruit and herbal teas......... I am vegetarian (hoping to transition to vegan over the next few months) so any food needs to be veggie friendly :)

Crafty supplies - embroidery floss, embroidery hoops, faux bois paper or fabric, watercolour pencils, notebooks and sketchbooks, gel pens, sharpies, yarn, drawing pens, markers, pastels, crayons

Accessories and jewellery - earrings (my ears are pierced), clip in hair bows, alice bands, fascinators, bag charms, knitted hats, mittens, ear muffs, adjustable rings (I have chubby fingers), brooches.

Other bits and bobs - lomography and vintage cameras, my kindle, cooking hearty vegetarian food.

I am a strict vegetarian so please note that I do not eat sweets containing gelatine or wear anything leather.

I don't like mint flavoured drinks or candy.

I prefer to drink caffeine free beverages as much as possible.

I am very interested in Wicca, Paganism and Druidism.

I will always appreciate any items relating to these areas of interest such as books, candles, crystals, incense etc.

I am a high femme "girly" girl and I love make-up, perfume and bath and body products.

I'm a staunch feminist and although I am more of an armchair activist these days due to health problems, I feel very passionately about improving the rights of women and girls across the world.

Although I do not consider myself a goth, I am very much drawn to the darker aspects of life. I enjoy horror films, ghost stories and anything with a dark, nightmarish aesthetic. I love reading up on true stories of paranormal goings on and in recent years I have become utterly obsessed with Halloween! I am also interested in dark folklore and myth and legend.

I can be quite geeky and I love anything Joss Whedon (except for The cabin in the woods, which I thought was absolute rubbish) especially Firefly and Buffy. I'm a LOTR geek and I am eagerly anticipating the release of The Hobbit.
