October 2019 Update:"

I'm sitting things out for a little while due to sick family members and having paid a ton of money to fix my car only to have a tree fall on it, AFTER I got it fixed. Someone has got it in for that car!

Work is improved now, so I'm going to try to get more swapping in! :)

I like to write, read, create, craft, and I rescue animals. I make way too many crafts and they take up space, so swapping would be fun.

I recently created my first few zines and am excited to make more. I have done swaps in the past, but not on swap-bot.

I like to make jewelry, dolls, buttons, and small decorations too.

I am a long-time vegan and would not want to get anything not-vegan in a swap, that means no candy, candles, bath and body, etc that contains animal ingredients. No leather or jewelry with bone, pearls, horn, or real animal parts. If in doubt, it's better to leave it out.

I like handmade things and art supplies, paper supplies, and so on.

My favorite cartoon character is Scoobie Doo, but other characters don't appeal that much. I like things that are unusual and surprising.

I like to use bits and pieces of tissue paper and magazine paper in collage.

I end up watching TV most nights, not so much because I love TV, but because all of my dogs get on the couch with me and my husband and cuddle.

Lately I have been gathering beach glass and pottery as well as digging up old jars and broken plates in my yard. I am fascinated by this little fragments of history. I like making jewerly, decorations and mobiles out of these things. I have found lots of very small old medicine bottles in my yard, so if anyone else likes these things, let me know.

I'd far rather have old, re-used things than something new from a dollar store. I like things that look handmade and more primitive, rough around the edges, than highly polished and mass-produced.

Lately I have been creating terrariums with plants in them. They would not mail well, but swapping little decorations for them would work.
