I'm a first degree HP, and am currently persuing the solitary path (although I do participate in some community events) . I have a 14 year old son and am engaged to be married (we may as well be already!). I've recently learned to knit, I like to listen to all kinds of music, watch movies, craft, and read. I love nature and try to spend as much time as possible outside. I also love learning new things and meeting new and interesting people, even if it's only for a brief moment. If there's anything specific you want to know that I don't mention here, just send me a message...

I have only done ATC swaps in the past, but would like to expand my horizons. With two exceptions, I have always sent my items on time. **As far as the two that I was rated a 1 for are concerned: when I signed up for them I was in college, and between my school work, my job, and life in general, I got in over my head. In retrospect, I shouldn't have signed up for them but I truly did not anticipate any problems. I am out of school now, and will not sign up for any swaps unless I am absolutely certain that I can send my items off in a timely manner.

These are a few of my favorites: Hunter S. Thompson, Stephen King, Douglas Adams, Elmore Leonard, Chuck Palahniuk, Ann Rule, Anne Rice...and I'm willing to read just about anyone's work at least once. I love true stories.

Purple(all but pastel), red, silver, black, all shades of blue, sunflower yellow, green, any earthy color.

Knitting: I can make scarves and hats so far, but plan on learning more as time allows.

Photography: architechtural, botanical (plants, flowers, trees...you get the idea), landscapes, photos of the sun/moon rising or setting, interesting photos of animals (not the typical cutesy types), and interesting people and places.

Gardening: I grow mostly flowers (my favorite is my Passion Flower vine) and herbs, and a few veggies.

Crafting: I like to sew (although I haven't done much of it in a while), making various items out of Sculpey, painting, fabric and/or paper covered travel altars, and I've recently discovered my love of making ATC's! I like all sorts of crafts, really.

Flea Markets/Yard Sales: I love going just to look, but usually end up buying something. I try to find interesting/unusual objects, although I'm not always successful.

It's The Rage, Million Dollar Hotel, Fight Club, Sin, Midnight in The Garden of Good and Evil, All Quentin Tarantino flicks, Insomnia, 21 Grams, 25th Hour, Frailty, Suicide Kings...I really have too many favorite movies to enter here...

I like all flowers, but these are my very favorite: Roses, all colors. Passion Flowers, Sunflowers, Zinnias, Dahlias, Daffodils, Irisis, Tulips, Poppies.

The color pink. The color gold. Any pastel color (except blue). Trashy Romance Novels. Cutesy pictures of animals (I mean, I love animals, but come on...). Of course there are other things that I dislike, but they really don't apply here...
