I'm an oldies fan and sing along. I pick up the words easily and will sing just about anything but rap. I love the Celtic woman CD. My children keep me up on the latest music.

I've been a short story/self help reader for years but now getting into good stories fiction and non fiction about interesting characters and some history. Love books on old clothing and fabrics.

I'm a chick flick/oldies/musical gal. Some of the new animated movies, can't wait for "Underdog" and want to see "Hairspray"!

Why do I watch so much TV? I am stuck on "The Closer" "The Unit",Saving Grace, "So you think you have talent" (if they left the Hoff at home it would be better!) "Antiques Road Show","This Old House", The PBS sewing shows, "Jane and the Dragon"(it's a Saturday cartoon,Jane is a strong nontraditional girl),

I'm a sewer!! I collect fabric trims and notions --I am trying to use up the stash so I can get some new to experiment with but I seem to always find more. Love old fabric and older designs. I have a new futura embroidery machine and am having a great time testing it out. I have worked from my home for many years so I could be home for my children. I enjoy anything to do with old sewing machines. Old news clips with clothing ads in them. Like to try new things-beading would be fun.

I am a Mom of 5, 2 are married, and I am the guardian of my 10 yr old nephew, have 2 new grandchildren and work full time as a customer service rep for a clothing company. My husband teaches in the vocational wing of our local HS and I am jealous of his summers off. Have had a hard time finding time for my fun some days. I was just diagnosed with ADD so I'm getting better at that.I love the colors lavender/purple,enjoy being outside in the cooler weather with a cup of coffee. Hope to have a good garden next summer and an organized sewing room this winter!
