I don't do paper crafting of any sort and don't use those supplies. I keep saying it in my profile over and over and yet I keep getting these items for swaps. I don't understand this.
Before I mail swaps I take a picture of the swap and of the mailing label with tracking. Especially with stocking stuffer swaps I worry the gift can get separated from my gift tag so a picture can straighten it out
I rate fairly and accurately. I send nice swaps, and I also expect everyone to read and follow the swap descriptions if they want a good rating.
I'm a gracefully aging grandmother with a happy lifestyle. Kids and grandkids all grown up and moved away. San Diego native born and feel quite the lucky gal because of it! I've been sewing since I was 5 and learned embroidery, knitting, quilting and beadwork. These days I focus mainly on knitting, crochet, quilting and felt items.
I joined a local quilt guild to surround myself with other hand stitchers and expand my skills. What a treat to take classes from such skilled artists in forgotten arts. I'm also in local knitting and crochet groups.
I live in a small place so I tend not to collect things that won't be put to use or consumed. My exception is Starbucks Christmas ornaments. So many things are pretty and will make me smile but I just have no where for them to go!
Someone had the wisdom to say this so I do this:
Never try to teach a pig to sing. It only annoys the pig and wastes your time.
You should never try to convince somebody to your way of thinking. Not only will you most likely be unsuccessful you may damage the relationship with the person at the same time.
I don't argue, or have discussions with argumentative and disagreeable people.

Merry Christmas. I opened the 2nd package from Christmas 2023 Stocking Stuffer #3 and I gasped on what I saw. A homemade tea towel holder (and in Christmas Red) and a Santa Clause tea towel. I just LOVE it. Thank you. Did you make the holder?
