Working full time at computer. Taking care of elder family members. Giant yard and mid-century house w/ lots of issues. Love music, books, movies/tv, crafting, crosswords -- all of which I wish I had more time for. Other things I find interesting: 20th century design; visual arts; color; practicality; quirkiness; whimsy.

Mostly classical, but I listen to/like nearly everything. I play classical piano duets and other chamber music.

Quilting, sewing, other needlework. Each of the last several years I've made a couple of felt ornaments, and try to always make a New Year's postcard to send out.

Mostly fiction, good story lines and/or intelligent writing, mysteries, young adult books. Examples: The Princess Bride, Louisa May Alcott, Jacqueline Winspear, Malcolm Gladwell.

Love anime. Favorite movies tend to run along same lines as favorite books, especially if they have quirky characters. Couple of favorite directors: Wes Anderson, Hiyao Miyazaki.
