My name is Jess. I was born and raised in Mexico City but moved to the USA in 2000, when I was 23 years old.

I love postcards and cute stickers. Don't get me started on fine and extra-fine pens or notebooks, specially the dotted or grid notebooks.

I started collecting postcards when I was about 12 - 13 years old. My first postcard was from a very dear cousin, with whom I have remained close throughout my life.

A few months after receiving my first postcard, I met someone from Spain. Another cousin and I became this person's tourist guide for the next few days before he returned to his country. He sent me about eight postcards from different European countries within 4-5 years.

Ever since then, whenever I hear a friend or relative will be visiting a city or country I have never visited, I ask them to please buy me two or three postcards. "You don't need to mail them; bring them back with you. I'll even give you money to buy a couple."

That's the best way to guarantee I get at least one postcard from anyone's trip.

Throughout the years, I've collected over 200 postcards. Some have beautiful pictures of animals, landscapes, or both. Some are from museums or landmarks, a few are handmade, and some are silly or cartoonish. I love each of them!

I am very proud of my collection, but I only know a few people who travel internationally. Also, it is not so easy to find postcards these days. I see stickers everywhere (funny, cute, and not so), but postcards, barely. With your help, I can expand my collection.
