I love zines, rest, signing, writing letters, veg food, activism, permaculture, and enjoying life.

I believe in radical mental health, justice, building community. loneliness is too common. I used to be very lonely. I want to help people connect and be nurtured.

I live a busy life but schedule in a lot of relaxing too. I do self-care all day.

I blog, study Spanish, write emails and letters, and gratitude journal every day.

I help run a radical mental health collective, and live in community at a Catholic Worker though I'm not Catholic.

I enjoy singing, especially in Sanskrit.

I believe... we all deserve to live in a world without war. we all deserve healthcare, food, shelter, clean air, and clean water. My worth has nothing to do with how much I weigh. Art and nature heal me, diversity is beautiful, no one should slip thru the cracks. Life is more important than money. The well-being of everyone is more important than money.

I live with the love of my life who is extraordinarily good to me--patient and generous.

I admire people who live off the grid, people who find their own way.

I'm an outlier introvert, yet love people. I have no kids or pets. I enjoy traveling within the US. I want to learn and change.

I make drawings, paintings, collage, ATCs. I make art for my own zines. I make jewelry.

I like to cook, blog, and garden, which feel crafty.

I'm a big fan of Sufjan Stevens. his music speaks to me like none other. I went through a phase where I listened to his 2015 album about his mom's death Carrie & Lowell every day. he can do a lot of different things, but always with world-class lyrics and beautiful images and storytelling. he's a poet, but more than that too! the sounds are amazing.

as for Hindu devotional music, I love Wah and enjoy others too. I've been to Wah concerts in the Bay Area. but I go to concerts rarely.

I have some musician friends--Eileen & the In-Betweens, Robert Majors, Vera for Love, The Mildews, Johnnie Bobb. they are dear to me.

also like Bjork, Joanna Newsom, Half-Handed Cloud, David Bowie. used to love the Sundays, Cat Stevens, Ghost Mice, Casiotone for the Painfully Alone.

I used to play bassoon. that was a long time ago.

more recently I picked up ukulele and liked it but put it back down. if you saw how long my nails are right now, you'd know it's been a long time. guitar too.

I like playing recorder and tin whistle but have a pinched nerve in my neck that makes the little finger on my right hand not very useful. that's unfortunate!

I like singing mother songs in Sanskrit. singing is very good for my well-being and a good way to pray.

the only tv show I ever really loved was the X-Files.

well, I will take any postcard at all. stamped and sent written on to be banged up in the mail, or pristine in an envelope between two pieces of cardstock--either way or something in between, doesn't much matter to me.

but I do like what you write about your day or thoughts or needs or a recipe or quote. odd or pretty stamps are good. I like weird stuff, maybe something that some would consider ugly such as a strange awkward depiction of a fish. I prefer ugly to boring, maybe. but boring is ok too.

I don't like horror or gore, but I like skeletons, dancing skeletons, goddesses and gods, insects, sealife, succulents and cactus, food but not meat, mental health and radical mental health stuff, queer anything, depictions of gardening.

I love outer space--stars, planets, comets. cemeteries, headstones, moss. I adore the Virgin of Guadalupe. aliens are nice. trees, caves, stalactites and stalagmites. any and all of that. and I like all the colors.
