Hi, I'm 30-something lady from Finland. I'm a philology/linguistics/education student at university and live in my lovely flat with my chihuahua puppy (born Jan 2016). Wish I had more time for crafting, but these are the things I do: - I smashbook (It's like scrapbooking, but less serious and planned!).
- I am getting into planner stuff: I have a Simple Stories Carpe Diem planner for actual planning and a Bando planner for memory keeping. - I like to knit small things: mittens, socks and such. - Sometimes I sew. My sewing machine is a bit sad, because I don't use it enough.

what I pledged

• Colourful and special stamps on my mail always make me smile. If possible, please please, use a scout stamp :)

• I prefer getting postcards naked (no envelope) and fully written (tell what you've been doing lately, tell a story/thoughts about the postcard, anything!) I don't like multipicture post cards.

• I understand English, Swedish, Finnish (my native language), German and some Danish & Norwegian.

• It's nice if you write a note with the swap and maybe tell something about the things you are sending to me (what they are, why you picked them, where did you get them etc.). Or tell about your day. Or write a nice quote. "Hello, here is your stuff, hope you like it" is boring.

• My favourite colours are all shades of petrol/teal/turquoise/robin's egg. I also like greys, blues and chocolate brown. Pink and lime green are great effect colours, but I don't like them in large amounts. Kraft, silver and glittery things are beautiful. (Forget all this when you are choosing washitape for me: all colours are very welcome! I tend to buy my fave colours, so variation is good. Send any colours!)

• I love everything that has something to do with fleur de lis, chihuahuas, stars, snowflakes, fairies, Russian nesting dolls (matryoshka), rainbows, LGBT pride or crowns :)

• Yummy flavours: mint, fudge/caramel, sweet cinnamon (not hot cinnamon), mango, (green) apple, cherry, mint chocolate, coconut, garlic, black pepper.

• My favourite animal is giraffe and I like guinea pigs, foxes, hedgehogs, owls, penguins, pandas and black cats too. Chihuahuas and pugs are my favourite dogs. Anything with BADGERS is awesome, I have a friend who collects them and they're quite hard to find here.

• Tea: I prefer flavoured black tea and rooibos. Fruity ones are my favourite. I don't like chamomile or green tea. Please check that the teas don't have licorice root in them, I am allergic to it.

• I love Christmas!

• I adore orchids!

• Harry Potter, Sanrio (esp. Chococat, Hummingmint, Cinnamoroll) and other kawaii, Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Tinkerbell (the fairy, you know), My Little Pony (old and new ones), Carebears, Alice in Wonderland (all variations), Le Petit Prince, Doctor Who and Jip&Janneke (from Netherlands) stuff. My sister LOVES Buzz Lightyear (and The Toy Story) a lot, I am happy to receive Buzz things and give to her.

• Scout and Harry Potter stamps.

• Anything fleur de lis!

• Funny, cute, colourful plasters/bandaids.

• Alphabet stickers, washi tape, die-cuts, shaped paperclips, post-its, page flags, journaling cards.

• Candy and chocolate I can't get here: candy corn!, Wonka candies or chocolates, Cadbury's Cream Eggs, Charleston Chews, anything Aero Mint (Nestle?), Pocky (not chocolate)
