I am a 30 year old flight attendant who loves everything kawaii/cute! I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico and am very proud of my home state. I moved to Houston for my career after college and still feel like a transplant!

I love to travel, and have been to some very far-flung places. My favorite place to be, by far, is Japan. I was born in Yokosuka, Japan as my father was in the US Navy. We left when I was 2.5 years old, but it has had an amazing effect upon me and inspired my wanderlust.

I am a certified PADI scuba diver, am into weight-training, and am learning golf and snowboarding as well.

I am a crafty kind of girl. I like knitting quite a bit - though my skills aren't that great. I'd love to learn to do amigurumi crochet, though it is still very intimidating to me. I love throwing pottery and need to go back to the studio, as it's been years. I also like watercolors, sewing, quilting, card-making, origami, sculpting small figures out of clay, drawing and coloring.

I would also love to learn the Japanese language. I only know how to order a beer and say good morning! Hahaha.

I love tea tasting. That seems to be a major hobby for me, and has produced a collection of teapots, cups and tins. I prefer white, green, black and tisanes; rooibas is just okay for me.

I recently jumped on the planner decorating bandwagon and must admit I don't know how I lived or got anything accomplished prior to my Kikki-k medium.

I love giving and getting handwritten notes, letters and packages in the mail, and am glad I discovered Swap-Bot through Instagram.

I was an English major in college so I read for pleasure quite a bit. My favorite books include Wuthering Heights, Pride & Prejudice, Silk, Gone With The Wind, Passion, The Other Boleyn Girl, The Alchemist, and the Little House on the Prairie series. I have recently discovered Audible.com and love audiobooks as well.

I have a girl-crush on Keira Knightley, so I tend to be partial to anything she's in including Silk, Pride & Prejudice, and Anna Karenina. I also love many others such as: When Harry Met Sally, The Last Samurai, Walk the Line, and the original Star Wars trilogy.

Masterpiece Theatre on PBS is a must see for me with shows like Downton Abbey, Call the Midwife, and Mr. Selfridge. I also watch Mad Men, Breaking Bad on AMC, and older stuff like Frasier, I Love Lucy and Little House on the Prairie on Hallmark. Oh and The Tudors for my JRM fix.
