I am creating a second account so I can do something nice for my family- I would like for them to get some mailbox cheeriness :) :) :)

Here is the plan:

1) for the exchanges I join, I will be sending the swap items out to my swap partners. I live in Panama City, FL, so for those receiving items from me, that is what the return address will say.

2) You, however, will be sending swap items to my family, not me. The address that Swap-bot provides to you is for my family in Georgia. My mother is Ginger, and my grandmother is Claudia (hence "Ginger and/or Claudia").

3) Please feel free to send items addressed to either one of them, or both. It does not matter. They live together, and they will both be seeing the swap items. Random choices are great, aren't they! :)

My family is not that big on music. They listen to a lot of news/ talk radio.

Just about anything funny. Our family is big on comedy. Everything from Blazing Saddles to Shrek to Harold & Maude.

CNN/Fox News, a lot of History Channel & A&E, a lot of sitcoms. Oh yes, and the Weather Channel- big weather & news junkies :)

My family is not very crafty. But here are hobbies/ interests:

My mom Ginger (who is in her 60's)- loves cats & all animals, reads constantly (mostly fiction) when she is not at work (she is a professional), loves to travel. She is also a big fan of Get Fuzzy.

My grandmother Claudia (who is in her 80's)- loves history & learning about other cultures, genealogy, flowers, and travelling. She is especially interested in religious history (all religions).

Any item you would like to send, though, I am sure they would be happy to receive. I started this second account with mainly postcard swaps in mind, since they both love mail like that (and I think they are both still kind of fuzzy on what this site is all about, especially the artsy/crafty items like ATCs and such :)

PETS are a favorite topic around the home. Cats, dogs, ferrets, gerbils, doesn't matter. If you are ever looking for a topic to cover, this will always bring smiles. Any pictures of your own pets, stories, etc. will be greatly treasured.

Some misc. items everyone at home enjoys: postcards, stickers, stamps (used or unused), bookmarks, candy, hot chocolate, hot cider (no tea or coffee, though), cards, .....
