I am a 26 year old mom to a very energetic almost three year old girl. I live in a small college town in Kentucky with my husband, daughter, a dog named Lucy and a cat named Psycho. I love to create things out of paper, and I love to reuse and recycle in my craft. I'm a firm believer in the THRIFT STORE! I am also a huge music lover and a collector of quotes and song lyrics. I've just discovered swap bot and I'm very excited about joining swaps and getting into the groove of things. I'm hoping this will be a motivation for me to be more creative, and to also make some good friends through art!

My favorite is to take anything that would be thrown away and give it a new meaning. Some of these things I've used before are listed below.

~cd's that are scratched or that would be thrown away. ~old wooden childrens puzzles. ~interesting shaped puzzle pieces. ~the old style dominos. They are shaped like a square. ~any kind of jewelery. Broken is even better! ~Rusty things found on the ground. ~Bottle caps. ~Quarter machine toys. ~PAPER! Antique or vintage is always nice. I love sheet music. Anything interesting works. ~Old timey Photos. ~Books. Hardback is a plus, along with pretty pictures. ~Picture Frames. ~Greeting Cards. Or Stationary. And I love handwriting so it's even better if they are used! ~Journals or notebooks that I can decopauge. Also folders.

I could probably go on and on. Basically if you think it's neat but don't really know what to do with it, I would probably think it is too and find SOMETHING to do with it! I really love to turn old things into new things.

Just off the top of my head:

~vintage items, or vintage themed items. ~anything from nature, especially interesting rocks, pebbles, crystals, or stones. ~old timey photos. ~sun, moon and stars! ~Qoutes and song lyrics. ~magnets. Store bought, or handmade! ~free form poetry. ~Childrens books, especially ones about nature. ~Tea. Any kind is nice. I like to try new kinds! ~Scrapbook paper. Even just scraps of it are nice. ~Tarot cards or Oracle cards of any kind. ~Fairies, elves, and gnomes. Mystical art is fun and inspiring to me. ~Turtles and sunflowers are my very favorite things. ~Postcards and notecards with interesting pictures and/or art. I love storebought, but handmade is doubly wonderful! ~Markers, Crayons, Colored Pencils, Paints. Any art supplies will be my friend. ~Romantic photographs. And Black and White. ~Pin up models from the 50's are so cool. ~Animals make me really happy. ~I love color. Any color. Orange, Yellow, Purple and Green are a few favorites. And Turquoise. Anything turquoise!! ~Country style and folk art. ~Trees! ~Butterflies and birds. ~Stickers!!! ~Dried Flowers.
~Handmade paper. ~Tie Dye and Batik. ~Calligraphy. ~Little boxes and tins. ~Buttons and Pins. ~Mix cd's are always nice. I love all kinds of music. Mostly indie, folk, jam bands, bluegrass and country. And anything new is always welcome!! ~Handritten letters are nice. ~Scetchbooks! ~Scentsy scents would be fun to trade. ~Incense. Jasmine is my very favorite scent.

I'm a pretty easy person to please. If I ever get around to it, I'll make a dislike list. But for now I think you can learn a lot about me by my like list. If you have any questions, just ask! :)
