UPDATE JANUARY 2013 - I had a major move and career change. There was another death in the family. Things have settled down so I'm ready to start swapping again.
UPDATE JULY 2011 - I had a death in the family and haven't been on swap bot for well over a month or two. I lost track. I'm sorry if you are missing postcards. Please let me know and I will send them out asap.
UPDATE DECEMBER 2011 - I have had some major turns in my life that have caused me to move, work long hours, you know the story. I just wanted to say that I'm hoping to get back on swap bot and start trading again. I haven't been online so I'm sorry to those who sent me a message that went unanswered.

Good Afternoon, Comments for "Read my Profile..." from FritosMom in Stafford, VA. Curious Question-you have been on Swap-bot since 2008 and only 28 Swaps? Does the counter start over or you just were not that active?? Now, I cannot think of a more interesting job than a 911 Operator - the stories you could tell if you were allowed to tell!! I do see you are in a lot of Postcard Swaps- I do Postcard Swaps and have a Scrapbook from around the world. How do you keep your Postcards? Have a great daY:-)
Hi Karen! I'm your partner in the read my profile swap. :) I see that we don't have a lot in common until we get to the tv programs lol. I grew up on full house, saved by the bell and the simpsons. I absolutely love reruns of them and still think Zack is to die for hehe. I also love Married with children! Did you like that one? Anywho, so happy to meet you! Happy swapping!

OMG! I saw Brad Paisley last summer and it was at a Pavillion type arena so all the rich folk got the seats under the roof while the rest of us had to sit on the grass up on this hill... he left the stage and walked up to the hill and sang 3 songs just for us!!!!! It was amazing!! I have a picture of him so close you can see the sweat! LOL that was the best concert moment I have ever had! Thanks for the comment, by the way! :) Have a great week!

(given that part of it was done in Vancouver) you must get asked that a lot... you probably have some crazy stories from your job and some of the call-outs you'll get. most people do have something interesting to share, so don't put yourself down! x

I bet being a 911 dispatcher is rather interesting and I'm sure you have heard just about everything. I bet some of the things people call in about can be rather strange and other thing can be rather sad.
WOW! You've been on Swap-bot since 2008, that's awesome! Karen, I can tell you that I personally think your job is quite interesting. I sure you have lots of interesting stories, that you can't tell...but you have them! So, don't say you're not interesting. Everything you do makes you who you are. Never sell yourself short. :D Oh, you do two things I've always wanted to learn - pottery and fused glass. Do you just love it? I also do scrapbooking, and I LOVE to write and do collages. I am a graphic designer and photographer for a living. So, yet one more thing I can relate to. We also enjoy some of the same crafts. I've enjoyed reading your profile and getting to know you a bit.
