I'm a 1st grade teacher and wanna be hippie chick who refuses to grow up. I am an avid reader. I'm a part-time yoga teacher. I've read all the Harry Potter's ( I have to, it's my job) and am currently reading a melange of things. I finally managed to pick up The Hobbitt, and am now on to The Lord of the Rings trilogy, after much prodding by my boyfriend. I like clever writers, like Terry Pratchett, Christopher Moore, and Auturo Perez-Reverte but-hands down-my favorite author right now is Paulo Coelho. He is brilliant! As for Twilight-I don't get it. I forced myself to read the books last summer and found them meh.

I'm an on again, off again artist. I'd like to learn how to sew-I have an awesome sewing machine that my mom gave me. Unfortunately, I've forgotton everything I learned in my home-ec sewing class. Oh! and I've been knitting the same roll brim hat for about two years. I also like to glue shells on boxes and mirrors for a victorian-nautical look.

I'm pretty happy with most everything I recieve. I've only been flaked on a few times, and have met some terrific people on Swap-Bot. I like to spread joy, and so I will most likely give you a heart-especially if I feel like you put effort into your swap. *** If I am late sending out a swap, please don't hesitate to contact me. I may have simply (cack!) forgotten.

Eurotrip, Contact, Garden State, Nacho Libre, Office Space, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Swingers, Dazed and Confused, Love, Actually, Blood and Chocolate, Bridget Jones Diary-usually, if I'm going to watch a movie, it's going to be of the "light and frothy" variety. Although, I recently saw Up in the Air and really, really liked it.

Arrested Development,the Office, Modern Family, The Daily Show, Firefly, The Tudors, Dexter. I have become completely obsessed and enamored with Dr. Who.

PAPERCRAFTS! I love making ATC's lately! Altered journals, painting ang glueing things to other things, making beaded jewelry (although I haven't done this in a WHILE!

chocolate chip cookies, anything chocolate for that matter, hot teas, spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice. I'm trying to cook more often, so I like the idea of collecting recipes. I'm also a vegan/vegitarian if left to my own devices.

Dislikes: anything cheap or haphazardly created• anything overtly Christian, although spiritual is always ok...• Truth be told, I'm easy to please. ☺
