I'm a mom, sign language interpreter, crafter, seamstress, blogger, wife, friend, daughter, student, presenter, secretary for our local Interpretering chapter, active in my church, avid reader and many other things.

I enjoy all kinds of things that require using my hands: sewing, scrapbooking, embroidery, quilting (tying and piecing), cross-stitching, paper crafts, beads/jewelry making, card making and just about anything else I try. I don't know how to knit or crochet but feel certain that if I would learn how I'd more than likely become obsessed and have to buy all the tools and do it day and night for quite some time! smile!

Currently: Making aprons, handbags and simple projects for the kids Scrapbooking - following a Designing With Calendar that has day to day challenges. Needing to keep up with my hoards of photos on the hard drive and in print! Making cards for the birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions in my life. Working on an embroidered pillow that should have been done last Christmas.

Likes: purple, stamping stuff, scrapbooking stuff, beads, handmade items, fabric, fabric, fabric, vintage postcards and retro 70's stuff, kid stuff, 50's stuff, 80's music, aprons, anything Disney, all kinds of music, all genres of literature, magazines, tutorials, chocolate and chocolate and yet again CHOCOLATE! Diet coke!

Dislikes: pet stuff (no pets here, sorry), anything crass and crude, heavy metal bands, chocolate covered cherries
