About Me

About me.....um lets see..... I am in my mid thirties. I have 2 beautiful children and a wonderful husband. I am very involved with my family and love spending time with them. I am a full time working mom. I love chocolate and coffee. My favorite smell is my husbands cologne and my favorite sound is my 2 kids laughing. I am not really nerdy, but I have always wanted to be either an accountant or a prison guard......funny pair. My job is neither.
Favorite Music
I love music. I always have the radio or my Ipod playing. I love top 40, dance and pop. Some rock and roll - I am not into country or rap. I find that my music tastes are based on what mood I am in. Sometimes mellow, sometimes upbeat, sometimes I just want to sing too. I wish that I had a really good singing voice, but I dont. I did play the tenor saxaphone in our school band, but now I could not read a sheet of music if I tried.
Favorite Books
I like biographies and memoirs. Once in a while I find a good fictional book that I get immersed into. The Road by Cormak McArthy was a wonderful book. I also enjoy reading some "learning/information books".
Wish List
I have a hard time asking for items - but I thought that it might be good to include this paragraph for people who would like ideas for swaps.
I like all colors bright and subtle - My favorites are Black and White
I am more of a modern style person. I'm a city girl - not really a country bumpkin.
If it is an odd item, and you are questioning on whether to send it or not.....send it!!!! I will probably love it!
When it comes to decorative items such as cards and stickers and such, I am not so much into the cutesy "hello kitty" type. But if you do want to send them to me, I am sure that my daughter would make good use of them.
I prefer silver over gold and Diamonds over pearls...lol.
POSTCARDS - I love them all!!
Swapping for me is more about where items come from and who has send them to me - I truly appreciate the effort that goes into some of these swaps! I would enjoy anything that you choose to send me = .THANKS!!

I really enjoyed your profile, but i'm curious as to what a friendship book is? it sounds interesting. My best friend is also on maternity leave and I just went to her house to take some arty pictures of the baby - sort of like Anne Geddes. But the baby didn't want to model and cried the whole time. Oh well! If you like memoirs have your read Glass Castle? It's one of my favorite memoirs of all time. Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your life!

You seem to me a very sweet person and I think your family loves you very much! Have you finished your book already? If you every want to do a private swap let me know :) The book that you mentioned sounds very interesting. I have a hard time reading fictional books so I might have to check that one out. I'd prefer to be learning something if I'm reading! :)
