26th June, 2014: I am now up to date on all due ratings. If you've sent me a swap 4-6 weeks ago, but haven't been rated yet, rest assured its because your swap hasn't reached me yet. I will rate you as soon as I do receive it.

1st May, 2014: Some unexpected work related travel has come up because of which I will pretty inactive for the entire month of May. I have now sent out all swaps for which partners have been assigned. Since I won't be home during the entire month, I shall not be able to rate any swaps received during this time. Rest assured that I will rate as soon as I am back. Thank you for being patient. I am going to be able to access SB through my phone, so feel free to reach me through PMs!

As a 20-something law grad who's suddenly found her calling as a teacher to kindergarten kids from low-income families, I am full of contradictions. I think of life as an adventure and am a real life embodiment of the famous LOTR quote "Not all those who wander are lost". Travelling, meeting new people and discovering new cultures is what makes me feel alive. I want to keep learning as long as I live.

I will be starting my first term as a teacher this July (I am in training right now) and I can not even begin to describe how excited I am. This experience, albeit close to my heart, is going to be very new and unfamiliar for me and all I can do is hope that this new journey proves fruitful.

I have a lovely boyfriend and a wonderful family. No pets.

I started out with doing simple Type 1 swaps in order to get a feel of SB and the atmosphere here. I have had a blast doing those and feel like I am ready to move on to more time and effort intensive swaps. Here's hoping the experience will be equally amazing!

Mail to and from India can take a little longer than you'd expect, so please be patient with me. Nevertheless, I promise to keep you updated every step of the way.

NOTE: If you get me as a partner in a swap, I really hope you will not restrict yourself to the likes listed on my profile. That list is there only for the sake of it and is not at all exhaustive. There are so many other things I love and appreciate besides the ones on my list, so please feel free to send me something/ anything you have put thought, time and effort into and I will find a way to enjoy it. Since I am the easiest to please, any mail sent with love will put a huge smile on my face.

I am a voracious reader who does not discriminate at all. I love me some classics, but am always down for some contemporary literature as well so it would be an uphill task to list out all my favorite books. Let me list down the last 5 books I enjoyed reading:

One of my resolutions for 2014 is to read at least 30 books this year, so hit me up with suggestions to make this task easier!

1. Fitness. I even blog about fitness and healthful living

2. Food. I never tire of eating and cooking good food.

3. Makeup. A new lipstick is all it takes to lift my mood.

4. Entrepreneurship. I am somewhat of a serial entrepreneur and find entrepreneurial stories very inspiring.

5. Travelling. See my about me, if you need any further proof.

6. Art and craft: I love sketching, doodling, watercolor, illustrating and every other art form. I used to trade ATCs in high school (through yahoo groups, so say Hi if you know me from there!) and am now looking to get back into it.

The only form of craft I haven't been able to learn is knitting, but frankly that could be due to my lack of patience. :(

I am so new to swapping that I feel it would not make sense for me to put down a list of things I'd like to receive. If it shows that you've put considerable time and effort into your swap, then I'd be a generous rater. Otherwise also, I am a pretty generous rater. Please don't feel obligated to send extras to receive a heart. I am very nice that way :)

My latest obsession is POSTCARDS

In India, we gets loads of touristy PCs, but hardly any fun, non-touristy ones. Unfortunately for me, those are the ones I have fallen in love with. As they say, beggars can't be choosers. I'd love any non-touristy non-AD PC you could send me, themes no bar. I prefer mine unwritten in an envelope. I am making a wall full of PCs from all over the world.

I HAVE NO MAJOR PHOBIAS, DISLIKES OR ALLERGIES, but:

• I would prefer not receiving religious themed things.
• I prefer avoiding anything vampire/twilight/zombie.
• Absolutely nothing misogynistic, racist or classist or discriminatory in any way.
• I do not find poo/pee/fart jokes amusing
• I am not too keen on Horror/Halloween themed things like zombies, skulls, spiders, gore, skeleton, blood etc.
• I am not fond of teas and coffees, but I can pass them along to those who are.
• I have no use for fabric and knitting supplies. ATCs, journalling and mail art are the only craft-y hobby I have.

I will always PM you before rating down and am very understanding. So, do not hesitate to communicate with me about swaps you are receiving from me or sending to me. I shoot a PM to my partners as soon as I drop their swap in the postbox, because I always want to keep them in the loop (also because I am very paranoid about my swaps getting lost in the mail). As proof, I take pictures of contents of every swap I send out and of the stamped envelopes themselves before dropping them into the postbox (told you I am paranoid!). Feel free to ask me for those. I won't be offended, I promise!

I am generous with my hearts and I give one for any swap you put time/effort/care/thought into. You absolutely do not need to send extras to get hearts. I love notes though, so even if its an ATC swap I'd love a note with it talking about you, your city, the ATC, your day or anything else/
