I am a 33 (soon to be 34) mother of 2. One preteen boy who insists that Fortnite is the greatest thing since Betty White and a newly minted teen daughter who swears that she knows everything and I am not the "cool mom". I am a night audit at a Hilton Hotel, I get to meet people from around the world who are tired and just want to go to bed. I do work full time and sometimes feel a little overwhelmed between work and the kids. I am a nerd at heart, loving old school video games and books. I have a passion for learning and will rabbit trail for hours on fascinating topics. For example, did you know that hares and rabbits are not the same species? I didn't! I grew up spending the school year in Dallas and the summers in Oklahoma running through the woods and swimming in the lake. I consider myself eclectic pagan with Norse leanings, though I welcome any faiths.

I am a huge fantasy fan! Terry Pratchett being one of my favorites, Discworld is just amazing! Granny Weatherwax is my spirit animal. I also love horror, Stephen King being the, well, king. I am currently starting to reread the Dark Tower series. And lastly, SciFi. Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series and her Talent/Rowan series are amazing. Older but still fantastic reads.

I am not as much of a movie watcher as I am a show watcher. But I really enjoyed the Kingsman movies. I am a Colin Firth fan and Taron Egerton is just so cute! As a nerd at heart, I think that it should go without saying but I enjoy Star Wars but will always be a Trekkie.

I listen to all kinds of music. I am not above blasting Bohemian Rhapsody and singing along as I drop my 13 year old daughter off at school. As a parent it is my job to embarrass her as much as possible. I have also been known to blast Rammstein or Elton John when picking her up.

I LOVE television. I often binge 2, 3, even 4 shows at a time. Currently I'm having feelings about Locke and Key. I have yet to finish the first episode but it's weird. But a good weird! Joe Hill is Stephen King's son, so weird is to be expected. I am not a fan of reality TV, with the exception of shows like Face/Off.

I am a maker by trade. Though I mostly make messes. I craft stories and worlds. I cross stitch and embroider. I enjoy drawing, even if I am horrible at it. Creating things makes me feel as if I have contributed to the beauty of the world in some way. I can't crochet to save my life, though I can knit.

I am allergic to strawberries, which is unfortunate since they smell and taste so good!

I am still waiting on my Hogwarts letter, trying to find the right wardrobe, searching the stars for the Doctor, and hoping that one day I can travel to Pern.

I am my family's resident genealogist. I love it! Finding stories about my strange and wonderful family has always filled me with joy. But I also love to hear about everyone's family stories.

*Tea- I love tea! Herbal teas are my favorite. There's this tea that I discovered that is like hibiscus and orange. Delicious! But any herbal tea is love.

*Bookmarks- I am always reading and always love bookmarks. Any type, got one with puppies- I'll love it! Got one that has a funny quote? Give me! *Postcards- Show me where you live, your favorite thing about there through postcards!

*Stationary- While I'm not a stationary fanatic, I do love it. It makes me feel special and whimsical writing on stationary.

*Recipes- I am a lover of baking and cooking, send me those recipes! I'm always looking for new things to make for dinner.

Please do not send: Glitter- I just can't with glitter, it really hurts my heart. If it's on a letter and in no danger of filling my house with those sparkles, that's fine. Strawberries- Ok this one is an allergy and not a dislike, I just can't stress it enough.
