Hello! I'm Carmen. I live in the Lower Mainland of BC, Canada with my fiance, his mother, and a black (tuxedo) cat named Enzo.

I have various credentials in the field of Psychology, but am very indecisive as to what I'd like to pursue as a career, so who knows where I'll go next.

I've recently discovered a love of all things mail related and swapping fun, so decided to give this a try after it was brought to my attention :)

My hobbies include (but are not limited to, because I always forget to mention things):

• Reading
• Writing fiction and letters
• Crafts: knitting, beading, cross-stitch, papercraft, heat embossing, .....the list goes on
• Video games
• TV and movies (but the book is always better!)

I'm always on the lookout for new penpals, so if something in my profile catches your eye and you'd like to stay in touch beyond our initial swap, let me know :)

I'm incredibly flexible on postcards, so send something you think I'd like! But please check my Flickr album to avoid sending duplicates as much as possible.

I prefer postcards to be written and stamped without envelopes, if at all possible.

I like to read about other people and countries, so it would be great if you could write a bit about yourself. I'm also fond of languages, so if you're able to write some thing in another language along wit translation, that would be cool!

• Tea: I'm open to all flavours, but if there isn't English on the label I'd appreciate a quick note letting me know the flavour!

• Letter Writing supplies: Nice paper and/or envelopes

• Bookmarks

• Craft supplies: Yarn, ribbon, buttons, beads, stickers, cardstock, embossing powders (though I'm not sure how those would travel through customs), etc...
