I am an art teacher in Virginia Beach, Va. USA and I love any kind of hand made art. I am best with two dimensional art though I teach everything from metal and jewelry design to printmaking to AP Studio art. I'm kind of a jack of all trades.

I was married in Dec. 2009 and the event was a hand-crafted wonderland thanks to my mother. My mom is a major inspiration in my life though we make very different kinds of art. We challenge each other which is always good!

My Sister is the little goofball in my profile picture and that is her graduating from High School. She has Down Syndrome and is a constant source of crazy in my life. :-D

My all time fav. movie has to be "Robin Hood Men in Tights" closely followed by any Mel brooks or Monte Python movie. If you can't tell I love comedy and my immediate list of loves are as follows The Princess Bride The Wedding Singer Happy Gilmore Real Genius Bio Dome Clueless 10 things I hate about you I like many other movies as well as long as it is not Horror. I can't do Horror or realistic war movies...ew.

Right now I am addicted to So You Think You Can Dance and Lie to Me. I also really enjoy Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Glee, and Bones. We actually don't have TV hooked up in our house so we either HULU the shows or go watch them while working out at the YMCA. Hey, it gets us out of the house!!!

I like a wide range of reading material. I really enjoy Fantasy writing like R.A. Salvatore, Elaine Cunningham or Terry Goodkind. I also enjoy C.S. Lewis...everything from the Narnia series to Mere Christianity. I think he is brilliant and easy to relate to. I also really like Wendy Alen's series the Chronicles of Brothers. REALLY interesting read about the background and story of the fall of Lucifer from the perspective of the angelic. I read a lot of books that others suggest to me as well :-D
