I spend a lot of time camping, hiking, exploring the outdoors and traveling the world. Along with crafting with friends I make jam and pickles with my sister. I also love to experiment with creating country wines, cordials and digestives. My crafting behavior is seasonal. Summer is for hiking and jam making and winter is for crafting. So if you don't see me on swap bot for awhile is it because I am on the trail somewhere or have several boxes of fruit trying to rot faster than I can preserve it.

I am an erratic crafter, always trying out a new form of art. I have been playing around with acrylics, watercolors, collage, metalwork, and sewing. I am a costumer. I love sewing period clothing. I should spend more time on modern clothing I can wear to work but I want the bustle dress so much more.

I like to alter objects and try to recycle items to make new art. My goal is to join swaps that will not require me to buy all the items needed to make my art. If I don't have 90% of what I need then I will not join the swap. This is a desperate attempt to destash and use all that is cluttering up my art room. And if you saw my art room you would be heartily in favor of that plan. I suspect many of you reading this are nodding with empathy.

One of the things I am really enjoying about swap-bot is all that I am learning. I have been stepping outside the box of what I usually do and trying fun new projects. I am having so much fun.

Big eyed cutesy children and big eyed cutesy animal themes (such as precious moments), Disney, or some some juvenile rainbows and pony cute. exceptions are some sort of creepy or kookie cute.

Food preferences:

Tea preferences. Classic English black treas, mints, citrus, and interesting herbal blends. I am vegetarian so if food is involved please avoid anything with meat or gelatin.
