Comment: Oh my gosh! Hemingway? Really? You should get 10 hearts for even trying. That was not light reading by any stretch of the imagination. I am very impressed that you tried. Occasionally I read weighty literature but after a literature teacher had us read Crime and Punishment and then War and Peace, I confine my reading to authors I know that I will like. You like historical fiction. I suggest you check out James A Michner's books. They are really good but I don't t hink he has been banned anywhere.

Comment: Thanks for chatty letter. I'd say with both sewing and writing, just take it one thing at a time and you'll become proficient. Writing a story in someone else's style, early in a class is very demanding. Being home with your kids is important, never apologize for that.
