Hello, I'm Shirley and I love to receive and send 'Happy Mail'! I'm married and have one son who is grown. We have a cat named Sofie who is like my baby girl. I love swapping, crafting, baking and reading!

We live in a smoke free home - neither my husband nor I smoke. Please don't send any items that smell like smoke, my nose is very sensitive to the smell. :(

THINGS I LOVE

CARDINALS - I love Cardinals, they are very special to me for several personal reasons. I will welcome anything you send with Cardinals on it and pretty much guarantees a heart from me!

Amish anything! I'm a bit obsessed with Amish and would love postcards or anything with info about their way of life, or Amish things like cookbooks, pamphlets, etc.

I love paper crafting the most. I like to make my own cards & envelopes, bookmarks, etc. I love scrapbooking, craft supplies and all that fun stuff. I'm also a huge CAT lover and love anything with cats, woodland animals or really cute animals. My favorite colors are Pinks & Blues, but I aIso really love earth tones too! Oh and anything GLITTERY! I love things that sparkle :)

I also love anything Primitive (Prim), snowflakes, snowmen, gingerbread men, pumpkins, and anything to do with Autumn!

ALLERGIES

I am allergic to anything strawberry, hazelnuts and macadamia nuts.

Scrapbooking supplies: Washi tape, die cuts, scrapbook embelishments, papers for scrapbooking, gel pens, vellum, adhesive gems, random craft supplies for ATC's, etc.

Paper - if anyone has 8 1/2 by 11 tea or coffee stained paper they can share. I would be forever grateful! :)

Postcards: My favorite postcards are things like food, recipe postcards, anything Amish related, Autumn themed, cats (especially cat photo's but don't mind cat art/drawings), Cardinals (the bird, not any teams), Vintage, black and white, holiday themes, Windmills, Lighthouses, Waterfalls, beach, covered bridges, castles, woodland animals, cute animals, Pandas, Polar Bears, postcard with cut-outs, postcards with glitter on them etc. Please no car related, no nudity, no Ads, or sports postcards.

Notecards: I like blank notecards with pretty things with flowers, cute animals, food themes, etc. Please no thank you cards. Note: While I appreciate all things sent to me, I don't understand why anyone sends notecards with no envelope? If you send me blank notecards for my use, please include the envelope that goes with it. Thank you! :)

Stickers - I love things like winter themes, all Christmas, winter stickers with snowflakes, hats, gloves, penguins, hearts, anything glittery, flowers, cats, butterflies, cupcakes, beverages, owls, bunnies, bears, holidays, etc. - really love clear stickers :) Please DO NOT send Planner stickers, anything Anime, Sports or any that are clearly kids stickers (like Disney, Dora, SpongeBob, etc).

Christmas items - vintage Santas, snowmen, snowflakes, gingerbread men, fireplaces, sleighs, wreaths, candy canes, old fashioned scenes or natural looking. Please do not send me anything with elves on it.

Halloween items: I love Halloween, but please only send 'cute' Halloween items. I don't do gross, gory, scary or creepy. Please so spiders or creepy crawlers! Ewww!

Autumn - Autumn is my favorite season and would love any items related to that - stickers, die-cuts, ephemera, Halloween (only if it's cutesy), Thanksgiving, etc.

DECOS - I love exchanging Deco books. However, I am not interested in any that are specific, meaning you HAVE to paint, draw or rubber stamping on them. All others are welcome! :)

FOOD

I love fun hot chocolate packets in all different flavors. I also love Milk chocolate. Please do not send me tea, I don't drink it anymore.

I love all kinds of candies (100,000 bars, British chocolate, tootsie rolls, etc), snack cakes and flavored chips and I love funyuns! Let me know if you would like to do a snack swap! We have a store here that gets really neat things from overseas. :)

I love books! I'm very much into reading memoirs or real life stories that are not about anything scary or murder. I don't do scary, lol. I also like cozy mysteries, Amish romance, and some modern chick lit. I don't like historical anything.

I love crafting! Right now, my favorite thing to do is to make my own cards with matching envelopes. I love to make really pretty envelopes to put my swaps in as well. I also love to be a crafty recycler and make things from envelopes, notecards, etc that I receive.

I can make handmade cards with embellishments and I also make cards digitally in layout format using a software program and then I print and assemble them. I use 110lb cardstock for the cards and regular paper for the envelopes.

Making cards, bookmarks, magnets,etc is really fun. I also like to make Flip Books, Envelope Flip books and scrapbooking.

I'm always happy to receive anything related to card and bookmark making, including thin yarn for bookmark tassels, die cuts, glitter, glitter glues, embellishments, papers, etc.

I like ATC's with STURDY backings. Please don't send me ATC's that can bend into a U or are flimsy. My favorite type are collage style with several layers - including things like fibers, embellishments, etc. but I'm open to other styles too. Please PM me if you would like to do a private swap. :)

Here are things that I would like to receive to help me create more of them:

Small vintage images, cats and kittens, holiday embellishments, adhesive fabric trims/borders, sequins, small adhesive gems, thin adhesive ribbon, confetti, glittery string, small stamped images, ATC size backgrounds,etc.

I am really not very picky, but please do not send me Planner stickers, anything religious, kids or teacher stickers, anything with nuts, makeup or lotions, etc.

I do not need any post-it notes or note pads. Also, I do not have any need for Thank you cards - I have more than enough. :)

PLEASE NO SPIDERS!!! Nothing with spiders, I am extremely afraid of them.

Please DO NOT send me any tea.

Please DO NOT send anything with Emoji's (I just don't get them?), Anime, any Car related, Sports or anything that is clearly kid themed (like Dora, SpongeBob, etc). Also, please don't send puffy kid stickers. I've been getting them a lot lately, and don't have kids who will use them.

Also, I love Halloween items but they need to be 'cutesy'. I don't like anything scary or gory.

I am open to private swaps for Deco's, ATC's, or whatever you can think of!
