Description:

For this swap you will send your partner an article from a magazine and a cup of tea.

Simple! It's senders choice, so send whatever catches your eye.

Now, of course you can read your partners profile and send hot chocolate if they don't like tea and an article on cats if that's what they like but that's a bit safe. Let's live dangerously!

As long as you send a full article and a teabag (please label and put in a clean plastic bag if it's not in a sachet) you will be rated a 5.

I'll make this one open to unrated Newbies with full profiles and for the rest of us - ratings over 4.5.

could the article be a print off from the internet?

Jox 01/31/2013 #

It could be, but i know i like receiving articles from newspapers or magazines from other towns and countries. You could always photocopy an article if you didn't want to rip a page from a magazine.

Can't wait to swap!

Does the article have to be in English? :)

efjellro 02/14/2013 #

I'm looking forward to this :) This is my first swap!

I would prefer English articles, but if they are in another language I would love to have them translated ;) And I would prefer it to be from an actual magazine, not a printout from the internet ;)

No it doen't need to be in English, this swap is senders choice but if it is in another language make sure it has lot's of pictures so your partner will get the idea. I love french craft magazines, I can't read french but I get the idea from the pictures :-)

Erm, I have a bit of a problem. One of my swapping partners lives in Australia and I just read that Australia does not allow for tea to be sent into Australia. Apparently customs will seize the whole envelope.

I just googled this and found this website: http://www.daff.gov.au/aqis/mail/cant-mail

See "Plant Materials" section.

I'm not sure if Australia will seize the whole envelope or remove the tea from the envelope, and I'm not even sure if the tea I sent falls into the prohibited category because I sent herb tea and I have no idea what is in it. (I doubt it has any seeds in it.)

Anyway. Should the envelope not arrive in its entirety or at all, I'm thinking I'll ask my swap partner if he would like something else. And I'll send that.

I hate to spoil the surprise, but Sebastian, if you read this, I'm talking about you. (lol)

I just wanted to put this out there in case Sebastian never gets anything. I may contact him personally as well. Well, I probably will.

Does anyone know more about this?
