Hi! We all have "issues" that we deal with everyday and sometimes we suddenly have things that just get us down. I know I do. Let's make a greeting card to send to 1 partner simply to cheer them up and put a smile on their faces. In the comment section below, place a one or a few words describing something that is difficult for you. Example: depression, missing someone, need a shoulder, or all alone. No further explanation needed. The card should be at least 4 1/2 x 5 1/2. Add a poem, suggest a book they might enjoy, write something telling them that someone does care.

If you prefer to NOT receive a card that refers to religion then please make note with your comment.

I'd love to join but I'm not a card maker. I'd be happy to send a note to cheer someone up and maybe a little extra like a poem. So many of you are good card makers I'd be ashamed of any kind of card I could construct.

My challenge is coping with pain from RA and fibromyalgia--I am better now than any time in the past year, but pain just wears down your stamina and your smile. However, I often use humor to cope with pain!

June, I'll be happy to make a few cards for you and send them your way ... then you can choose from those few to send on to someone else.

My heart hurts sometimes that most of my family is far away. I miss my sons and my grandchildren terribly. Birthdays (my own and theirs) and holidays are sad, lonely days for me, and some of our birthdays are coming up next month. Always a struggle for me.

I recently moved from Oregon to Utah. I left friends, 5 sisters and my mom. I miss them all so much. I miss mom the most. I love being with my daughter and grand children here and don't regret the move but, my heart longs for mom.

Missing my Mom - she left me so unexpectly - I really do feel like an orphan at times! I know I am blessed to have my hubby and sons, as well as some really awesome friends (the sisters I do not have) - but no one can replace Mom! I have a message on my answering machine from her that is at least 16 months old and I would be so upset if it ever gets erased - it is good just to hear her voice at times! My Mom's Birthday is the day before mine - so January is really a tough month for me, plus this year we had to have our furbaby Heidi put to sleep on my birthday - not fun all the way around! Don't get me wrong, people made the weeks before, day of and weeks after special, but at times I feel lost without my Mom and now am missing Heidi as well! Sigh

My dad had a stroke Sept. 28, 2012, and although he is at home, he is 82 years old and my mom my mom is also 82,is his sole care giver 24/7 although us 4 daughters live close and help out alot. I worry about them and also have Seasonal Affective Disorder (depression during the dreary winter months. So thankful I still have my parents and my grandmother (in fairly good health) will celebrate her 100 th birthday March 28, 2013!!

My biggest issue is the loss of my son. I too suffer from seasonal depression, chronic re-occurring depression, and dependent personality disorder. As if that weren't enough I have many other physical issues. I worry about my daughter, the loss of her brother has affected her deeply. She often feels as if she has no-one but me to confide in. they were so very, very close.

Last year and so far this year has been a rough ride. We lost our home in Florida and my daughter is very ill with cancer. I am a bundle of nerves because now after surgery and chemo she has to spend the whole month of April in the hospital for a bone marrow transplant. Just need a lot of prayers.
