Unlikely Friends - ATC - International

Who would've thought that they'd be friends? But sometimes the stars align and an unlikely friendship is born...

For this swap:

• You will make one ATC for one partner
• The ATC will feature two things (person, animal, plant, insect, &c.) that form an unlikely pair -- examples: a duck and a butterfly; or an eagle and a dachshund -- sender's choice
• The medium is sender's choice (draw, paint, collage, mixed media, fabric, &c.)
• Make sure the ATC is sturdy (if using fabric, mount it)
• Make sure your ATC is 2.5" x 3.5" (6.4cm x 8.9cm), and will fit into a standard ATC sleeve
• Stickers may be used sparingly for embellishment, however, they should not be the main event
• Please put thought and effort into your ATC; do your best, and produce something you'd like to receive (don't forget to have fun with it)
• Sign your name and date the back of your ATC
• Include your username & swap title either on the back of the ATC, on an included notecard, or on the envelope
• (Optional) Share with your partner the story of your unlikely friends

In order to join, make sure:

• You have a 4.96 rating or above (unrated swappers allowed with well-filled out profiles)
• You have no 1's in the past year and no unexplained 3's within the past six months
• You can communicate clearly as needed, will send on time, and rate promptly

Please note that this is an international swap. Current USPS postal rates have gone up to $.49 domestic/$1.15 international for a one (1) ounce letter (+$.21 per additional ounce, or non-machinable, bulky, or rigid, envelopes). I will check profiles and cull at my sole discretion as needed; if necessary I will angel after you've rated your partner a 1, but since we're all responsible adults :), please don't make it necessary. I want this swap to be enjoyable for all involved!

I'll do a final profile check and assign partners the morning of Mar. 1, 2014 so you'll have two weeks to complete (if you haven't already) and mail out your ATC.
