Kind of a tongue twister! But cute! An Altoid Mint Tin, altered and filled with OWL related items! (Please use the tin that is approximately the size of a deck of cards!) Things you can include: flat acrylic stamps, stickers, clip art, beads, ATC's, inchies, mini pens/pencils, erasers, patterened paper, buttons, pins, jewels, trinkets, etc. Be creative & unique! Also, please alter/decorate at least the top of the box! You can use sticker or label paper to stick on top, or you can use your XYRON adhesive to adhere an image to the top! Even try other altered methods! Do a Google or Flickr search for ideas! Step outside the box for this! This is one partner only. No newbies for this swap! This is not based on profile likes/dislikes, so you may begin creating now! No bad swapping etiquette! (Karma will bite you in the tushy) Please send in a bubble mailer! Must be rated 4.8 or higher with no "no-sends" in the last 3 months! *International welcome. So if you do not wish to send internationally due to postage, please do not join. You could end up sending overseas!

Wow, this sounds like an awesum swap, but just not enough time for me. I love owls but would have to get out to find some owl things. I hope you run this again some time with a little more crafting time.

This is OWLSOME! I finished mine today and stuffed it and the envelope full! Do we post a pic of our owltoid or the one we receive??

This was my first altered tin, and it gave me some trouble at first- I had to end up throwing my first attempt away. I painted it, and the paint kept scraping off:( The I figured out another technique, and it wasa go!

@azrosieposie do you think you'll host any more altered tins?

Stampgirl: I think it would be GREAT if you posted pics! Both sent and rec'd! I'm glad you liked it!

Teani: Awww...I'm sorry it gave you trouble! Here's a tip on tin painting. If you paint acrylic, sand the tin first and then paint. Also, finish with a sealer. Spray paint works GREAT! Also, there is Metal Paint on the market and it's sold at Michaels. It's called.....lol..."Metal Paint". Heehee.

Yes, I will host more altered tins! Let me think of a name for a new one! Also, I hosted round #2 of the "OwlToid" swap, because so many people emailed me!
