Knitted Bell Tree Ornament

I'm in a retro mood for the holidays! I'm planning on a few of these handmade ornament swaps so if you have a special theme request for the next one please message me.

This is one specifically knitted. These patterns have been around since forever. There are You Tube videos, or many on Pinterest or Ravelry, but I will include a link to one I like as it's pretty easy. The size changes by using sock or fingering yarn for small bells for lapel pins or worsted weight for ornament or package tie ons.

What they do need to be is knitted, that has a jingle bell or pom pom inside for the clapper and a loop on top that can be hung on the tree.

These make a great holiday treat as a service project for shut ins and people in assisted living facilities. They will remember these, they are from their Christmas past, and will really appreciate wearing it to brighten the day. After this swap make a bunch to bring to them!
