Windchimes

I live in Alabama with a big Country porch and love windchimes also so I am so glad you started this swap thank you. Oh is this international? Just wondering so I can budget my postage.

Maybe I'll sign up later. Too bad you weren't my partner in the summer swap I was in, Sally. I sent her a nice little windchime. I love them, too. My husband bought me a big $30 one for Easter one year, and then this past May when he built our front porch he bought me a hummingbird windchime for it! Such a nice guy...Hee! Yeah, I'll probably sign up later. But is there a price limit? 'Cause you can get the little $5.00 ones or the big, expensive ones.

Firstly - yes it is an international swap - just knew I would forget something!! The value of the swap is down to you - personally I think the little ones can be just as great (if not more so) than the big ones

This is a great swap. My mom collects windchimes. She probably has close to 50 now! Our whole house is totally covered, outside and in. Glad to know that she's not the only one addicted to them. :-)

You know, I forgot I have a 3rd one! It's a butterfly one by my kitchen sink. Silly me. Okay, I'm convinced. I'm signin' up! Ha!

You know what else? (Man, I just can't shut up! Sally will be deleating me soon!) My husband & I saw the coolest chime the other day--it had little tiny motorcycles all over it! I wish I would've had money that day! It was so cool! I think you can get like, any kind of chime these days!

Oh wow. It's midnight and I've just got in from work (early for a change) and thought I would log on to see how many had signed up. it's the first day and already 11 of us. That's great!!!!!!!!!!!

Do they have to be store bought... can they be hand made?

I saw one once that I only didn't get because of the cost = it looked like a HUGE chandelier - three levels of chimes - it was enormous. I have seen windchimes as high as 3K - I can't imagine spending that but it sure was beautiful and the sound was perfect.

I like the funky ones like the girlie ones, and the offbeat ones - I have a HUGE set that I have had to hang in a corner because my cats make it chime and it sounds like a big city church bell - so loud it hurts!!! LOL

I KNEW you would join, Windchimes! I read your story...I guess on the forums...? Must be. I can't think of anywhere else I would've seen it. Well, it was pretty touching, anyways. I'm only up to 4--I got a little pink moon one in a swap. I think I'll put it in my bedroom. Anyways, if I get you, I'll be like, "Help! There's no windchimes that Windchimes doesn't have!!!" Ha, ha! Okay, so I'm a little bored while my boys nap...
