About Me
I am taking an extended break from Swap Bot. To be honest, I don't know if I'll come back or not. I am not making any promises either way.
I am really burnt out on the negativity and hostility that is happening with people here. I see so much loss in the area of proper decorum in speaking to other people. I miss politeness. I miss people talking kindly to each other; we don't all have to be best friends. That would be impossible. But why can't we all be civil?
I find myself even now trying to talk others into changing how they speak to one another. And that isn't going to happen. People can change, if they want to, but generally they don't because they don't see what they are doing as being hurtful or offensive. Or they don't care.
I'll finish up those swaps that I am still obligated to but don't plan on signing up on anymore.
My hope is that this all cools down and things will return to normal. I am just so tired and worn out from the stress, hostility and anger that I need to take this break for myself.

To the best of my knowledge the Chunky Poetry Book was angeled for me while I was ill, and it was sent, so I have marked it sent - the credit goes to the person who angeled it. The Altered Hearts Tip In was sent - I did not mark it sent because I wasn't in Swap Bot to do so, but I have corrected that. If it wasn't received, it is a postal problem, as it was done. The Gotta Dance and Prayer Shawl swaps will be completed and finished - I have had some health problems and haven't been doing much crafting recently but I will be sure that these last two are done - not because of ratings but because I want you both to have your item as promised and you will!
I haven't decided what I will do long term about SwapBot. I am going to get my health things under control and I'll consider it at that time.

I hope things are better for you soon. I guess I haven't been reading all the posts and hearing all the negativity. I know it can really bring you down....esp. if you're trying to have a very positive swap for every one. I really enjoyed making the Chunky Poetry Book and was very proud to mail it to Ingrid. Hope she gets it soon and lets me know.

I was surprised to see the Glorious Autumn Chunky Book Swap cancelled. I had no idea...I found out about it when I clicked on another swapper's Fun Fall Fat Book Swap.

Very sad to see you go. Sometimes I think people forget that when you write stuff it doesn't come out the same as if you say it. So sometimes things need to be rewritten so that they don't sound so mean.
