Description:

This is for those of us going through a hard time. My son was born by emergancy c-section on 11/13/07 with a serious heart condition. He will need the first of three open-heart surgeries by 11/17/07. Other examples would be death of a loved one, serious illness, etc. You will have 2 partners. What you will need to do is MAKE a card with words of encouragement on the inside as well as a quick bit about what you are going through. We have all heard something that really helped brighten our day, so please share those with your partner and help them squeeze some sunshine out of the rainclouds. If you are a newbie, please e-mail me and ask to join.

Such a sweet baby! My son was in neonatal ICU from 7 days old and then on life support until he came home at 3 months old. 5 surgeries later, he was 18 months old. Now he is 18 YEARS old! Time flies but the pain and worry never stops. I pray for you and wish you the best! My son is amazing and wonderful and off to college in a few months. ACK! xxoo Tia

Both of my kids were preemies & in NICU's, so I know a little about what you're going through. I'm not sure I'm going to have time to join another swap right now, but I am sending prayers and good wishes your way!

Hello from the Adirondack Mountains. At age 42, I am trying to start a family with my beloved. There are plenty of obstacles to this dream. Some are painful. It is taking us a long time--four years since we started trying. We hope to adopt a single infant or sibling pair from overseas. I hope that an infant will join us in 2008. Thank you.
