Altering tin cans is a fun way to re-purpose items we use regularly - what better use for a tin can than to create a small homage to Frida especially since her birthday just passed! For this swap you will re-purpose a sardine can or a tuna can (think shallow can cat food, tuna, sardine, anchovy) and alter in any way you want. (pictured above is an embellished sardine can) It can be a shrine ,a wall hanging or a doll, its totally up to you. Use any medium you want, fabric,paint,silk flowers, tiny milagros... Put some "love" into this project, make it special. This should be a mini piece of art, if it's something you have a hard time parting with...you've created something send worthy! Sorry but no newbies,no unexplained bad ratings and your SB activity should be fairly regular with at least one sign in the week partners are assigned....Most importantly - HAVE FUN!
