I am born and raised in Iceland. I lived in Denmark for 9 years before I moved here to sunny Florida. I am married for over 30 years and have 3 grown up children, a girl and 2 boys. I have 3 cats, a Main Coon named Chloe, a Siamese blend named Bast and the "little" one we call Bolla ( fatso in Icelandic, strangely she is the youngest but the biggest) I am so glad I have my cats now my kids are all grown up.

I love basically all music and I think I have probably about 6000 songs on my computer. Maybe country music is my least favorite. I often listen to Enya and Loreena McKennit when I am relaxing and switch over to Nickelback, Three Days Grace or Two Steps from Hell when I need something with more kick.

I love quilting, sewing, junk journaling and crafting in general. I like making things for my home, my family and friends. I have tried fabric dyeing and soap making, just because I haven´t enough things to do, lol. Love to be able to make my own fabrics for my quilts and my own soap so I know what I am washing myself with. I love taking photos on my Canon and use them in different things, or just frame and hang on the wall, use them in postcards or in my journals. I love doing my own postcards and send them to my friends and family just for fun and to remind them they have a friend here. I like almost all colors but my favorites are green, blue and maroon red.

Uhhm books yes I used to read them before but not so much now. I maybe read about10 - 20 books a year now and most of them are quilting, sewing or new age related. I love a good mystery or fantasy book and have tried to read a few of them a year but there is just not enough time in the day. The only books I don´t like are romance novels.

Movies yes it's the same as the books it's just not enough time to see them all. I like mystery and fantasy and some sci-fi is good too. Adventure, yes like Lord of the rings, love Tolkien. Comedy, ohh I remember all the Carry On movies on tv back in the days, they are better quality these days, the movies that is. And last but not least action movies, love them too if the are without to much relationship complications, a good James Bond and Mission Impossible.

I love getting postcards store bought or handmade. Fabrics, never get enough of them ;-). Junk journal things and all kinds of paper. Buttons and trims, always space for them. I collect stones, shells, wood and flowers. I like pendulums, runes and moon and sun art all kinds. I like incense all kinds mostly handmade sticks, cones or resin, Bergamot is one of my favorite and really works on my migraine, I love tea, and and all tea related and like to experiment with different kind of teas. I love all animals, cats the most, small cats big cats, and I collect everything cat related, small cat figurines, pictures, things and fabric. Birds, butterflies, wolfs and owls. Elephants and bears are my favorite big animals and I have a few elephant statues from India and Asia. I love to travel and have seen a lot of countries and cities in Europe, USA and Asia.
