Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am a Northern Girl at heart, living in Florida for 31 years, and originally from the north. I am married and have a smart and busy daughter. Every day is a challenge! I work and am also a volunteer at my daughter's school. I am also a Girl Scout Leader and absolutely love it. I've been in Scouting for 15 years. Needless to say, we are always making crafts. I love to make handmade items, especially for gifts. Most of all, I love to laugh and make others laugh as well. I've just had a ball finding new ideas and trying them here. I've come across some of the nicest ladies here!

Crafty Crafts

I have loved crafts since I was a kid - making a birthday card for Mom, paper birthday hats for my birthday as a kid, sewing a Care Bear in Home Economics, ....Oh what memories!

Some of my favorite crafts to make are...

• paper crafts, such as matchboxes, paperbag albums, tags, paper shoes, just to name a few.
• decoupage
• card making/scrapbooking
• Gift tags (they're great to give as is!)
• matchbook notepads
• decorate small wooden boxes
• create inspiration trim tags & inspiration kits

I like to try new swaps and would love for you to share your crafts with me. I love to get inspired by other's crafts!

Still haven't tried, but would like to- whimsey jars (just rec'd a beautiful one!) & button fairies. I have only seen one ATC, they look fun. (update, just made my first ATC now I'm in the club!)

• Tea parties! Tea, tea cups and accessories
• Vintage lace/doilies
• Any type flowers/floral print
• Polka-dots, plaids & paisleys
• Gardening
• Party planning! Surprise birthday parties!
• Collecting recipe cards
• Spring type flowers, but love ALL flowers
• Butterflies
• Anything Girl Scouts
• New or used postage stamps (would love some from other countries)
• Geneology (working on updating our Family Tree. I'm learning that I'm not just Polish, Irish, Italian, and German. I've just discovered I can add French, Norwegian, Dutch and more! I can trace our family tree back to the Mohawk Indians!
• Love anything Italian.
• Really not too picky. I'd love to see your work if you would like to share. I would love to see some completed ATCs!
• My daughter is always collecting Boxtops for Education for her school.

Favorite colors: All colors... yellow, purple, green, violet, any purple shade just to name a few, but I am not too picky though, (really!)
