I live in NYC but am from the South originally. I love theatre, animation, esp. stop-motion animation, photography, reading, going to museums, Disney, history, and traveling. I am also a doll collector.

Some other random things I like: miniatures, steam trains, sail boats, vintage travel, turtles, owls, rabbits, witches, fairytales (favorites are Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella), mythology, puppetry, anime (favorites include Black Butler and Rozen Maiden), tea, Halloween, Christmas, hot air balloons, masks, historical clothing and costuming, tarot cards, Muppets, old films, Venice, France, England, Scandinavian culture, Japanese culture, Wonder Woman, teddy bears, flowers, trees.

All of Jane Austen, Anne of Green Gables, I Capture the Castle, Howl's Moving Castle, Harry Potter, The Secret Garden, Enchanted April, Eat Pray Love, C.A. Belmond's Rather series, Outlander series. Some other authors I like are Alice Hoffman and Sophie Kinsella. I also like reading a variety of non-fiction, including history and film and "art of" books.

Just a few: Amelie, You Can't Take it With You, It's a Wonderful Life, Harvey, Chocolat, Star Wars, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Harry Potter films, Disney movies, stop motion films from Laika (including Paranorman, Coraline, Boxtrolls, etc.), Hayao Miyazaki animated films, period films, fantasy films.

Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time, Penny Dreadful, Downton Abbey, Outlander, Grantchester, Sherlock, just about anything and everything on Masterpiece Theatre.

Mostly Sewing, Embroidery, Millinery, Sculpting, Quilling, Decoupage, Cooking and Baking, but I also like to experiment with lots of different things.

I generally don't like receiving food items in the mail.
