12/03/2014 To my pen pals I will be writing everyone back hopefully this week and getting them into the mail, I have received several letters and have been in the hospital again and was unable to reply to them.

I am a stay at home disabled mother of a wonderful 2 year old boy. I also have 2 children who are grown(18 & 19) and on their own now. I live in a small town in Eastern Tennessee with my husband, son, 2dogs and a cat. I love to collect things from around the world and have some things that are dear to me that my husband picked up while he was overseas in the Army. I decided to join here so that I can make new friends and try new things to broaden my horizons some.

I love recieving postcards that are naked and stamped as well as ones that arent used, I am not picky when it comes to them, the enjoyment from me is getting happy mail. My toddler son Nacoma, checks the mail with me everyday and loves it when we get things that are colorful. His grand parents try to send him a card or something each month so he gets mail too.

I read just about anything, I have been on a big fantasy book kick for a few months now and discovering new authors through amazon. I love Anne Rice, Stephen King, Nora Roberts and too many others to list. I read just about every genre there is and dont really have a favorite. I read about 3 books a month on average. I am also a huge fan of childrens books and am starting a collection of them for my youngest now.

Quilting is my biggest hobby, havent been able to do it a whole lot in the past 2 years, but my stash has been calling my name a lot lately., I dabble a little bit in crocheting and candle making. Starting some beginner wood working as well.

I also love to garden, have rose gardens, iris beds, cannas, lilacs, and azaleas right now looking to add more as im able to get out there more.

I have decided that next year (2015)with the help of some of my family I am going to attempt to put in a vegtable garden and learn how to do canning and preserving. I feel that this is something thay I need to learn to do and it ill be something that I can teach all of our children and it will help them to be more self sufficient. There definately is a lot more too canning than I thought. I remember helping my grandmothers as a child and man did they make it look easy. :)

I am of the Pagan faith and keep myself surrounded with all things of nature. I do not mind getting things of a Christian nature as I do believe in God I just believe there is more to existence tham what the bible states.

I love most kinds of music, clasic rock and country the most. Can spend all day listening to the big hair bands or George Jones and Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn.
