Hi!

My name is Shiran, and I'm from Israel.

I'm studying for my Mastars in Linguistics, and I have a BA in both linguistics and special education.

I love to travel, I love different cultures, meeting new people and exploring new places. I`ve been to over 27 countries all around the world, and would love to visit more amazing places... (as well as visiting some memorable places once over..)

I love languages, word games and puns, and I enjoy reading books very much (though during my studies I don't seem to find much time...).

I enjoy DIY projects and craft work, I make hanmade cards, and decorative items. I appriciate a personal touch to any gift or letter. I'm addicted to Washi Tape (who isn't..?)

I love baking (and some other cooking), desserts are my favorite, and Chocolate Perlins are my specialty :) receiving your own recipes or recipe cards is very welcome!

Swap-bot is definitely a genius playground.

if possible:

1. Please attach at least a small note in your package... even if it just says "Hello!" or anything... It's much more fun than just receiving an evny with swap-items!

2. When you get to the post office, ask them to put real stamps instead of just a price sticker... cost is the same, but the letter is happier this way! (I don't collect stamps, and yet I'm happy when they pop..!)

3. My ears are not pierced... so if you feel the urge to send me earings... make sure they are either clip-ons, or stickery!

4. Please don`t send me anything Coconut or Cinnamon...

I collect collections...!

I have so many, that I sometimes lose track of them.

My favorite one is the lettersets collection (matching writing papers and envelopes)! I've been nurturing it since age of 7 or so, and recently started buying some new ones... though I have to tell you, it`s hard to find lettersets these days...! SO, if you have them... I want them! no matter if they are brands or not (I prefer not..) or if they are childish or not (I prefer if they are..), or what shape they are (crazy shapes are the BEST!)..

I also have collections of gift bags (paper bags... "big brown bag" style), bookmarks, winnie-the-pooh-related items, spinning tops, and many others..

Lettersets!

Colors: My fav. colors are Red&Black (I lived in a black&red room when I was growing up, since age of three, and it had it's impact!). I also enjoy Purple, Green and Brown... Unfortunately, I hate all shades of pink... so please don`t send me an "all pink package"..!

Season: I'm a winter-girl... so anything wintery will make me happy- rain, snow (it rarely snows in Israel...), umbrellas, pics of winter or what not...

Stuff: I like buttons, pin back buttons, crafting materials, washi-tape, handmade objects, stuff for my hair, bubbles, magnets, necklaces\pendants, ribbons... basically, I like STUFF! anything goes.. it doesn't have to be big, and it doesn't have to be expensive, but I'll rather it be thoughtful, anything YOU like to get, and if it's wrapped or has a personal touch to it... I'd like it even better!

Though I enjoy coffee, I'm definitely a TEA PERSON!

black, white, chamomile and yellow are my favs (yeah, I'm boring that way..), and after visiting China, I'm slowly getting used to the healthy green..!

I don't get along with "berries tea..." but my boyfriend wouldn't mind recieving them instead of me.... ha ha..

and I prefer herbal over fruity...

but still, anything goes... as I'm open to new tea adventures...
