Widowed and living in my own space and time in the middle of the sonoran desert (Phoenix). No kids but 3 very large four-leggeds (dogs)--they weigh a total of over 300 lbs.

I work for municipal government, but I'm really an artist at heart. I just work there because I like living indoors and buying art supplies.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, Depeche Mode, Live, just about anything except country, fusion jazz, and pop.

Well, Serenity. So now you know I'm a SciFi/Joss Wedon geek. And I just couldn't help myself, I had to go to Disneyland to see Johnny Depp walk the red carpet for the latest Pirates movie

Lost, Heros, Boston Legal.

And I'll always love Firefly, even if I just have to keep playing the DVD to see it.

I am a craftaholic. I've been hooked since the age of 5, starting with simple crocheting and embroidery, I long ago moved on to the "hard" stuff....literally, I'm doing quite alot with metal these days. But I still have my soft side, and had a few awards for quilts and a fondness for paper, paint, ink and glue. I'm into all the substances.

I'll alter anything that doesn't move. And I've been thinking about buying a junk car just so I can alter that!

I like wild vivid colors, and jewel tones, and earth tones. Pretty much everything except pastels. Most likely to be seen dressed in black, white, and red. Or black and brown.
