👉👉Taking a break from Swapbot. Was imagining more of a friendship/community feel. Have not found that, here. Not sure if I'll be back or not.👈👈

👫 I am happily married to my best friend. I am the mother of two (adult, ages 18 and 23) boys. I am co-owned by a Miniature Pinscher 🐕 (Peaches, our "dog-ter") and two ferrets (Edward and Jacob).🐭🐹

🐣 Please feel free to friend me. I came here with a mind of meeting people...but the friend requests that I sent out (all ten of them) have been ignored. I'll not be sending out friend requests, again, in the forseeable future. 🐣

I enjoy crafting (embroidery, collage, bricolage, paper crafts, scrapbooking, Smashbooking, painting, upcycling, and mixed media arts). Other interests include: Geocaching, traveling, writing, the 1950s, the Renaissance Era, the Tudors, Shakespeare, England, collecting (vintage, usually) tarot cards, vintage ephemera and collecting/photographing Monster High dolls.

☕ I adore coffee, bubble baths, quality bath items, candles/wax and Jaffa Cakes. (I would subsist on those, only, if I could!) 🍫

🐙 I live in Las Vegas, Nevada...so, it is (perhaps) odd to disclose that I decorate using a shabby chic beach cottage theme. Unique "beachy" types of items, therefore, are a treasure to me. In our decor, I use colors of sea glass (blues and greens) for the most part. 🐳

🍻 I look to learn more about mead crafting this year...so (I imagine) that will be added to my interests, down the road. 🍻

My favorite color is pink. I am a vegetarian. I am a LUSH (and Bath & Body Works) fiend. I adore Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab.

🏰 I am an Anglophile. An Anglophile to the nth degree. Seriously. My fascination with England has been (nearly) lifelong. At the age of two - I told my mother that I wanted to go "back" to England. At that point I had never been...but I had long felt that England was home to me. I still feel that way. After I lived there for awhile (near Bath, a town called Chippenham) I realized that England was the home of my heart for life. As I had always known it would be. 🏰

I'm friendly and have an easygoing attitude. (Though, that being said: I do not suffer fools, well.)

🎤 Barbra Streisand, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Elvis Presley, favored movie soundtracks, Barry Manilow (I know, I know...), music of the 1950s (some of it, anyway) and a lot of the covers from Glee. 🎶

📚 The Harry Potter series, the Twilight series (the names of my ferrets suddenly makes more sense, huh?), Anne of Green Gables, Anne's House of Dreams, history (nonfiction) books about the Renaissance Era and/or the Tudors (and other books about British Monarchy from days long past), books by Alison Weir, The Outlander series, historical fiction ... really, I could go on and on. I love books. Entirely too much.

🎭 The Harry Potter franchise, the Twilight franchise, Into the Woods (Broadway and recent movie version), Sex and the City (One. Let's not discuss two, mmkay?!) Hairspray, Enchanted, Pocahontas, Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Ever After, The Princess Bride, Burlesque, Wanted, Moulin Rouge, Heart and Souls. Again...entirely too many to mention. 🎭

Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory, Friends, I Love Lucy, Outlander, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Frasier, Charmed, Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City...

🎨 Bricolage (creating objects/sculptures, etc. from "found" objects), collage, painting, paper crafting, Smashbooking, junk journaling (and crafting junk journals), embroidery, scrapbooking, working with Project Life themes, creating objects from mixed media supplies, cross stitch, writing...✏

🌹 The color pink, coffee, LUSH bath items, fragrances from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, lotions and potions from Bath & Body Works.

I LOVE the (UK) magazines The World of Cross Stitching and Quick and Easy. Additional issues would be very welcome in my home!

I also really, really enjoy Somerset Studio (Life and Memories) publications as well. So very inspiring!

I collect: Monster High dolls, rosaries (though I am not a Catholic; I adore and respect rosaries), vintage tarot cards, vintage bride and groom cake toppers, coffee cups, Disneyana and Disney Pins (Hidden Mickeys and Belle pins, in particular).

I love: glittery/sparkly items, incense, candles, wax tarts and items themed from England (or London, my favorite city in the entire world). 🍹

I dislike: patchouli, tobacco/cigarette related ephemera/memorabilia (my father died of cancer related to smoking. Tobacco/cigarette related materials do not, therefore, hit me well.), the colors brown and yellow, peanuts (due to anaphylaxis) and/or anything of a political nature. (I enjoy politics but not during my downtime/relaxation time.)

I am also highly allergic to cigarette smoke - so that is a huge dislike.

Finally: I dislike seeing people who treat other people poorly (for any reason). I will not pretend to accept (nor look the other way) if I see/witness someone that is being mistreated.

Injustice (in any of its forms) is a hot-button subject for me. I cannot/will not abide it from anyone. Ever.

I am a punctual person so I will always do my best to mail my end of swaps out, early.

In life, I always endeavor to send gifts/items which are thoughtful (and that will be appreciated by the receiver). I approach SwapBot in the same fashion.

I will rate my partners when I receive my Swaps. If there is a problem with any Swap I receive; I will contact my partner ahead of leaving a rating. Always.

I promise to be kind to Newbies. (As a Newbie, at the moment, my promise will mean more once I become a seasoned SwapBotter. But. Everyone started here as a Newbie. My exact promise, therefore, is that I will never forget that fact since starting here is discouraging and tough.)
