NOTE @hag53 and I share an address. She is my sister. Sometimes when we see the mailperson coming down the street with packages and large envelopes we take bets on whose name will be on them! As you can imagine sometimes they are mine and sometimes they are hers!

I am 52 years old. I have 2 daughters, and 6 grandchildren.I enjoy playing games. I enjoy looking through recipe books or magazines.. I like nascar and follow the 48 Jimmie Johnson. I love the red sox, and my favorite football team is the steelers..

.I do a lot of different crafts so I use a variety of things that are useful.. Brads , Buttons, Scraps of fabric (about 6 in), Beads (at this time I only use glass beads) , Lace, Ribbons, Faces for Dotee's , Beading thread, ATC size backs, Rubber or acrylic stamps of words, quotes, phrases, Ephemera, , Old Postcards, Anything vintage, Handmade tags for use in junk journals, Playing cards with vintage or very unique backs on them( it takes 10 to make a book), Washi tape in fun or unique patterns, Anything French Bulldog, and really anything used in altered book making!

I like making ATC''s and APC books, altered books, Dotees and I love Button Fairies and Ribbon fairies and more!

I haven't mastered sewing as much as I would like to. I can sew, but doing something creative with it comes hard, but I do try new things with sewing from time to time.

I started swapping some handmade journals and books and I love it! I love swapping the little books made from playing cards. They are just so much fun to make and receive. I love the different themes.

I've also started to make and swap some junk journals. It's been an enjoyable learning experience for me. Each time I receive a book I find new and exciting ways to make pockets and include fun stuff.

I'm really not very fussy. I like a lot of stuff but some of my favorite themes and collections include:

Frogs - fairies - mermaids and Goddesses.

Roosters - hens - chickens especially in red/black but really I love all of them.

I love Halloween

I love the Fall/Autumn season, the colors are bright and beautiful and the weather is so comfortable after the heat of late summer..

I also love the Winter. I love to see icicles forming on the trees . I love snowmen I haven't always, but my neice Mandy loved them so much that when she died the Snowman became a sweet rememberance of her.

colors include Black and Red together and Yellow and Orange. I really like all colors..

I like vintage anything and use a lot of vintage stuff to make my ATC'S

I also use a lot of ribbon, lace, buttons and I do love to use brads.

I collect decks of cards ! I love to go to yard sales and antique stores and thrift stores too! I have found a lot of vintage and cigarette ads, and different or unique decks! I use some of them to make APC's with. I love getting handmade items! I love to see the different ways people create!

I'm a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer four years ago. After radiation and chemo I was not expected to make more than six months, then they used a freezing technique on my tumor which gave some hope.

That was over two years ago. I've been in remission for two years. I still have to go for tests and screening on a regular basis, but for now I'm just thankful for every day of remission that I've been given.

I have a French Bulldog named Brody. He's a quirky little guy with some anxiety issues. He hates to be cold and wears sweaters and hoodies all winter. He has a beautiful soul which connects with mine so we work it all out! I Just love this breed!

I have a couple of allergies. Pine, Balsam, and the biggie.. PERFUME. I do not join any swaps that involve nature or other type swaps where I could get these items, However I know it can happen so if you see this and are sending any of these items please give me a heads up. thank you..

I feel like I am an understanding person, I know life happens to us all at times and things can happen. I do not worry about a day or two late or not exactly as what was required, for me, I think life is too short too be that rigid. I do like to get a quick message letting me know.
